My husband was a patient at Halcyon in Bridgeville for his final days. I visited several facilities before I decided on Halcyon. It was the right choice for him The nursing staff, the leadership and the maintenance folks were awesome. The place was maintained well, always clean and fresh. And the food was nutritious. A good choice.

It was a difficult decision having our mom leave her home. Halcyon’s care, compassion, community and personal touch removed all concern. My mom laughed and said “it’s like a resort”. There was never a doubt she was getting the attention she needed, and it was done with dignity and an insightful understanding of who my mom was as a person. 100% recommend.

We had outstanding service for our Aunt who had a life changing stroke. Keith and his team were very caring and professional during a very difficult time. We are so appreciative for all that was done for our Aunt.

My loved one has been in a number of facilities and although not perfect, Halcyon has been by far the best. The good is exceptionally great, the rooms are spacious and modern and clean, and everything smells fresh. The staff tries very hard to give outstanding care to everyone, although sometimes they are streatched a bit thin and then your loved one will have to be patient and understand what the staff is working with: a floor full of residents in need combined with limitations on staff and resources. Honorable mentions for the activities and seasonal decorations and fun and games, which the residents really enjoy.

Wonderful! Mom has lived at Halcyon for 8 months and has thoroughly enjoyed it even though she was reluctant to move at first. Each staff member knows more than her name. They can tell you what mom enjoys doing and talking about. Mom has made many friends. The staff and residents are warm and welcoming. The residence is small enough that it truly feels like home, not an institution. All of her needs are met while treating her with dignity and respect. Help arrives promptly when needed. The facility is spotless and the outdoor patio is second to none. A true gem!!
