River Glen of St. Charles

This is a lovely place to live! Very cozy and comfortable. Set in a quiet residential area surrounded by beautiful mature trees. The staff are kind and friendly, and the activities provided foster camaraderie and fun for the residents. Every New Year's Eve (A 20 year tradition) they put on a fancy Steak & Lobster dinner with 1st rate live entertainment! Entertainment is also provided during the year as well.

As a resident for over 20 years, I am grateful for River Glen. My greatest appreciation is for the quality of residents in the townhomes. Most of whom I called my friends. We have a nice selection of activities from Bridge to gardening to going to see plays and musicals. The facilities are well cared for. I appreciate the location being on a major bike path as well as 2 parks close by. One park has activities for seniors. The staff is currently very caring and responsive to residents needs.

I have been visiting River Glen for almost 20 years in various capacities. I love every visit! The staff is so welcoming and receptive from Trish at the front desk to Kelly the Director, the residents, and even maintenance. I love to see the many staff that have been there for years, with little turnover. They are doing all the right things! Great job River Glen!

I have toured River Glen & attended the annual ice cream social. My sister has worked there for several years so I am more aware of what the community of River Glen has to offer. The facility is welcoming, beautiful apartments (love the screened in porches & gardens!) and most important the staff goes above and beyond to provide a safe and warm environment for all of their residents. They provide many activities for the residents & their families to enjoy throughout the year. Sometimes when I am meeting my sister after work and I arrive before she can leave, I love sitting in the common area by the front entrance and chatting w/ the residents. I can tell they really like where they live & are very happy @ River Glen.

River Glen of St Charles is a beautiful independent & assisted living senior community I had the pleasure of touring! I took my aunt there for a delicious lunch and we met with the very friendly staff. We picked out an absolutely beautiful townhome for my aunt after we met with the activity director, Karen and sales director, Claudine. They were both so kind and my aunt knew she would be comfortable and happy there after downsizing from her home after my uncle passed away recently. The townhomes are luxurious, and my aunt loves the sense of community it provides. She has already met some of her friendly neighbors. I love the fact she will receive help with maintenance as well. This gem is nestled in a beautiful setting close to my home and I feel a sense of relief for my aunt as I met the kind and caring staff and residents at River Glen of St Charles. Definitely 5 stars!!
