Unprofessional and incompetent care. My Mother died there December 2012. My Dad just passed October 2025.

If you have experienced actual rehab before, this will not even come close. We wasted a week and got weaker and awarded ourselves a sore bottom from being wheelchair & bed bound. The family chose this place suggested by the local hospital for its central location and bounce back program. *against my advice* If your cool with a nursing home setting and amenities, like semi private rooms, group feeding/menu, and yard sale furniture this place is for you. The day we left her water cup was 2 days old. I was against this from the start and it was exactly what I said it would be - a waste of our time we transferred out. I waited to post until I knew she was better an on her way home, stronger. Staff was friendly enough, the dinning room is beautiful, it doesn’t smell like a typical nursing home setting, just wasn’t the place to get true rehabilitation. I wish the experience had been different, for all of us.

Bounce Back and wing #4........Terrible communication with families!!! calling the # listed- and that we are given- has no answer in the morning when attempting to find information on our parent. WHERE is the customer service??? their rehab may be helpful to some and staff seems to be kind, however when asked for help with a drink, calling from the toilet for help getting up, etc and having to wait for a LOOOOOONNNGG period of time is unacceptable in any facility. If you have a lot of patience, maybe this is the place for you.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My grandma went because she had cellulitis and stayed in the hospital then was transferred to Parkway Manor for recovery. She has been really healthy, never any issues, but she started losing her appetite. I asked the nurses at the station why she wasn't eating or drinking much and they said they think she is depressed and wants to go home. She kept getting worse and worse to where she was skin and bones. She was so weak and got to where she couldn't even feed herself anymore. I asked for a feeding tube and they said that was a last resort and would give her an antidepressant and appetite suppressant. A few days later she still wasn't eating, so I asked them again because every day she was looking worse than the prior day. They said they would give her an appetite suppressant and that she was probably just depressed. I said they were supposed to already be giving her one. It was about two weeks of literally watching my grandma die slowly from starvation and then I said I want her to be transferred to the hospital. The nurse said she had labs done and they were all normal. I still insisted she go to the hospital. When she got to the hospital her blood sugar was 39!! She could have died if I didn't use my intuition and get her help. They gave her glucose and fluids at the hospital because she was severely dehydrated. I seen the labs from Parkway and her blood sugar was 51 which is insanely low and they had the nerve to tell me that her labs were normal!! Did someone say law suit??? If she had stayed she would have been dead. I went to pick her stuff up and a woman was standing outside one of the rooms and said her dad just died. I had a coworker tell me that she had two sets of grandparents come here and they died shortly after. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! They just want to cash that check, they do not care about the patients!!!!

My mother recently stayed there for rehab after pneumonia and a fall. She was very happy there and she said the nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists were wonderful to her! She even enjoyed the meals served there. Having to see Dr. Parks there was a ++++!!!
