Healing Hands Assisted Living has been an answer to our prayers. When my bother was diagnosed with progressive Parkinsonism and Dementia, we needed to find a safe and welcoming home to provide for his current needs and future challenges. Healing Hands has exceeded our expectations. They have provided him with a family; caregivers that not only care for him but love him. Wonderful solution.

We had the pleasure of experiencing Healing Hands Assisted Living during the care of my mother. My mother needed 24 hour care which was carried out with love and dignity. Every care taker was gentle and caring. Though this was end of life care, my mother and family grew to love the care takers as an extension of our own family. God's presence is clearly a stronghold of the philosophy that is held dear to the hearts of owners Dr. Remi, Cogi, and every caretaker who enters the home. The home is beautiful with extra attention to the needs and comfort of each patient. This is not your typical Assisted Living. This is Assisted Caring.

My Mom is struggling with Alzheimer’s. Over the past few years, she has been in a few facilities, from independent, to assisted, then to memory care. Being corporately owned, many of these facilities tend to have the same issues, high turnover, changes in food quality, and overworked employees. These can lead to lower-level care and less individualized attention. As a resident, or family member, the corporate ladder can get tiresome, if there are unresolved issues. Just when we thought we were out of options, we were blessed to have found a “gem in a field of stones” when we came upon the Healing Hands Health & Wellness Assisted Living facility in Aurora, Colorado. This is an amazing alternative to standard senior care hiding in a beautiful neighborhood called Forrest Trace, near Southlands Mall. The facility is privately owned by two of the most caring individuals that you will ever meet. Dr. Remi & Pastor Cogi have dedicated their lives to caring for the health a wellness of their residents. The home is incredible, it’s spacious, it is filled with love and caring. The staff is amazing, the food is wonderful, and the individual attention given to the residents is unmatched by most facilities on this planet. Private and shared rooms are available, there may be a waiting list, so I would recommend you get in touch as soon as possible to reserve a room for your loved one. Each holiday is celebrated, each birthday elicits a party! The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed and comfortable. Large screen tv’s, open air living room, deck with a mountain view. All wheelchair accessible, lifts, ramps, etc. Fully licensed and approved by the state of Colorado, they offer top notch care. If you’re lucky enough to be around on any given Sunday, you may be treated to the amazing sounds of live music from pastor Yemi, with an incredible voice and a talent to soothe your soul. When he brings in backup singers, you might think you’re in heaven listening to angels. If you’re looking for a wonderful HOME for your loved one… your search is over. Healing Hands Assisted Living is the place for you. I really encourage you to give them a call, set up a tour… I believe you will be thoroughly impressed. My Mom is treated like a Queen, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

I am thrilled with my experience with Healing Hands Assisted Living. My family wanted more than excellent care for my aunt; we wanted her to be someplace she felt loved. That's exactly what Healing Hands delivers. Dr. Remi, COGI and the rest of the team are amazing and exceed my expectations in every way. Some of the things that impressed me most: - Engaging activities such as bringing in talented, live musicians to play music and the local library visits with books - Parties to celebrate birthdays and holidays - Regular family meetings to get our input and keep us informed - Frequent family communications, including photos and videos - Top-notch care (Remi has 20+ years of experience as a nurse practitioner and is very "hands on" with all residents) - Meals are amazing; they are nicely plated, delicious, nutritious and they do a good job including each resident's favorites - Personalized care and genuine relationships I know there will likely come a day when I need help and I hope I am fortunate to find a place as wonderful as Healing Hands Assisted Living.

Healing Hands is a great place for my father. The staff gives him plenty of individual attention. The cozy environment is better suited for him than the large institution he was in before.
