Heartis Village of Orland Park

For more than 25 years, I have been an entertainer for dozens of senior living venues throughout the Chicagoland area on an ongoing basis(3 - 4 times annually at each venue). Among the best(if not THE BEST) that I have seen during my career is Discovery Commons in Orland Park. Each time I visit to perform for their residents, I'm impressed by how bright and clean it is AND how happy and content the residents are! The conscientious staff has a great work ethic and is very well-organized, highly professional and pleasant. They are truly dedicated and attentive to their residents' needs and constantly demonstrate that they take their work seriously. Indeed, it is obvious that they care deeply about their seniors(which is very refreshing compared to the apathy I often encounter at many other senior living venues). Suffice it to say that I highly recommend Discovery Commons in Orland Park to anyone seeking a wonderful, caring home for their loved one(s)!

While visiting Renwick Nursing and Rehabilitation I enjoyed how enthusiastic the Activities Director Gwendolyn was in engaging the resident. She warmed their hearts and souls making our day seeing her being joy through entertainment and various activities..

horrible facility that cares about money not your loved one's. my mother in law was in hospice care at this facility- left in a dirty diaper for 3+ hours, given an undocumented morphine dose and the staff was constantly changing. An employee here told us we should move her out ASAP

This is a glorified nursing home…. In assisted living every resident should be able to get in and out of the bed on their own, I nearly broke my back trying to get a resident out of bed because they were unable to… the resident CLEARLY needs a lift machine. this place only cares about money and I’m seeing now why they can’t keep employees, the work is outrageous and when short staffed management does not help the cnas, they need to make some changes on who they allow in here.

My dad has been a resident in memory care for the past 2 1/2 years. I can't say enough about how wonderful Heartis Senior Living facility is. Especially the caregivers who are there everyday with our loved ones. They have become family and treat all the residents with love and compassion. A special shout out to these three CNA's, Mercedes, Mynisha and Kaylynn. These three continuously go above and beyond when taking care of my father. They are so friendly and loving and always willing to help out when asked by a family member. Thank you ladies for everything you do.
