Heritage at Irene Woods

VERY NICE AND WELL KEPT PLACE! THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE AS WELL. THE RESIDENTS ARE SO LOVEABLE AND FRIENDLY. IF I HAD TO PLACE MY LOVE ONE ANYWHERE IT WOULD BE HERE!

My 95 year old Mom has lived at Heritage on the Independent side for over 6 years. We absolutely love it! I have asked her to move in with me, but she would not dare leave Heritage. She has so many friends there and they are her family as well! The Administration and staff are amazing. They love and care for these residents like family. She is so blessed to have so many people care for her. The actual place is so clean and nice. Your loved one will be in the best place!

My mother moved to Heritage at Irene Woods in August of last year and she loves it there. After searching for a year, my mother chose Heritage. She said it felt most like home! The staff is very attentive. She loves the food and the dining room staff. They have lots of activities and outings for the residents to participate in. They have staff that takes them to appointments and staff that host activities. Heritage also host events for the residents and their families. My family has attended several of them and had a blast. Our time at Heritage independent living was brief as my mother passed away unexpectedly five months after she arrived. However, she absolutely loved her time there. The staff was always warm and helpful and she made some really good friends with other residents. She loved the activities and little trips to stores and restaurants as well as the in-house programs and activities. Most of the places we looked at seemed rather dark and "tired" but Heritage was bright and fresh and did not have an "old folks home" feel to it. Though mom was 90, she was spry and active and loved life. Heritage was perfect for her.

If anyone is looking for a safe, loving place for their loved one, I highly recommend the Heritage at Irene Woods. They are a number one JD Powers award winner and I searched from Memphis to Hernando to Marshall County , more than 40 places to find a caring and loving community at the best price and most amenities and Heritage was the best! My mother in law has been happy. The food is the best of any place I looked with open menu choices and two offerings at lunch and dinner. Besides the open menu! The staff are the most kind and responsive and loving people you could ever meet ! There are activities every day , trips out and you can arrange doctor appointments as well ! The rooms are an incredible and are like one bedroom apartments with plenty of room , the independent living have full kitchens and laundry rooms and are spacious! Many places I looked had only tiny bedrooms and cost a lot more. A person with a walker can navigate easily as well as someone in a wheelchair The maintenance is timely and well done. The patios have lots of room and each apartment has one. From the front staff to the kitchen they are like one big family with the residents ! I am so glad I found Heritage and I am sure you will be too!!!
