HERITAGE HILL SENIOR COMMUNITY

In the last months of my mother’s life she was admitted to Heritage Hill Memory Care Unit. They admitted her easily and quickly. The staff in the Memory Care Unit made the transition to the unit easy and without anxiety. While she was there the staff made this last chapter of her life very comfortable for her. They cared for her in a way that pleased our family greatly. They also were with our family every step of the way. In the last few weeks Family Pillars Hospice came in which was a great blessing. The nurses, aides, and ancillary staff was wonderful. We could not have asked for a better team to be with our mother and family in those last days. God Bless them all!!!

Heritage Hill provides everything that an older person might require. My mother, who is 99 years old, is safer and healthier than she was in her own home. She is happy and feels that this is her home now. She enjoys having breakfast and can have her favorite tea. When she turned 99 the staff gave her a lovely birthday party. She has her shower and gets her hair washed regularly, her nails trimmed and teeth brushed every day. The caregivers always make sure she has her medications. I can't be any happier than I am with the care my mom gets at Heritage Hill. And I can visit anytime I want which makes H.H. even better.

My mother has been a resident for a number of years. I can say nothing but the best about Heritage Hill. The staff and administration are the most caring people at all times. I am there quite frequently to visit my mother and I have only seen residents treated with the utmost respect. Trust me, I did my homework in my mother's placement. I think this is one of the very best! They have at all times an "open door" policy to visit your loved ones. Never disappointed in any of my observations. I can not thank them enough in being "the wind beneath my wings" in the help and care provided for my mother! I love them all!

I have visited Heritage Hill many times to see people very dear to me and they love it here. The atmosphere is inviting. As soon as you walk in the doors, you are greeted with many smiles from employees like Dan, Shannon, Michele, Julian, Tara, Alicia,April, and Ronnie to name a few, and also many pleasant faces of residents living there. The employees are very pleasant and ask "can I help you". Jody at the front desk is very helpful no matter what we needed. Denise (the executive director) door is always open and she is the first person you see when you walk in and the last person you see when you walk out of the building. She too, is always pleasant and willing to listen at any time. I have had loved ones at other facilities and you can never find an administrator, executive director anywhere. Their offices are usually hidden. Lisa Perla's door is always open too and if we ever needed anything she attended to it right away and always made sure things were taken care of. I would recommend this assisted living facility to EVERYONE without thinking twice.

Wonderful Place For Dad Heritage Hill Shepherd's Garden provided a wonderful, safe place for Dad. The staff treat the residents like they are their own families. When we would go home after our visits with Dad we always knew he was loved, well cared for and with dementia, safe. My family has been part of the Heritage Hill extended family since early 2011. We came because Dad was a resident but after he passed away in 2012 we became active volunteers. Over the past 7 years we have had interactions with the residents in the personal care section and the memory care section. We knew when we first walked into Heritage Hill that this was the place for Dad. Everyone on the staff from the director to the maintenance staff are so friendly and know the residents by name. They work very hard to help the residents feel as if it is their own home and the activities available keep them busy. I have recommended Heritage Hill to many people and they have been very satisfied after they have brought their family members to Heritage Hill.
