My mother was recently diagnosed with dementia. She moved in at Pruitt Place Kennesaw on New Year’s Eve. Because of her disease, my mother requires extra attention. The leadership and staff at Pruitt Place Kennesaw have been fantastic with the level of care and love that they show my mom. I sleep well at night knowing she’s in the right place with so many people that care about her.

Let me start by saying that while no place is perfect, what matters the most is prioritizing the important things, especially when it comes to caring for someone you love. It’s scary to trust strangers to care for mom the same way I do but the care at PruittPlace Kennesaw is hands down the most amazing group of people. I looked at a lot of places, compared prices, location and look. While dated (it’s a 20+ year old building) I had to put looks at lower priority and instead focus on the staff and how they interacted with residents. Most of the team has been there over 10 years and one amazing lady Megan for 18 years! It’s been almost a year and I can’t say enough about the whole team there. There are things that need to be improved but they are open to feedback and finding a way to make it right.

As soon as we brought my mother to Pruitt Place, we recognized instantly that all of the staff do this as a calling and not just as a job. I am certain that my mother is the highest maintenance person to ever stay at the Kennesaw location and yet they take care of her without fail 24/7. I am amazed at what these wonderful caregivers put up with on a daily basis, and I recognize that it is an incredibly difficult and often thankless job. I have nothing but great things to say and immense gratitude for the folks that have dedicated their time and efforts toward caring for the residents who call Pruitt Place their home.

I moved my loved one to Memory Care at Pruitt Place in Kennesaw in November 2025. I have been extremely pleased with the kind care he receives. The staff has communicated well with me and I can tell that they truly care about my friend. He has had some challenging behaviors. They have been patient and work with his hospice to help him be as comfortable as possible. This facility is older than his prior facility and it doesn't look as fancy, but the quality of care is far more compassionate and generous.

As a frequent volunteer, I always see the happiest faces when I’m here! The staff is so kind and all of the residents seem incredibly happy. The memory care unit is always set up with lots of activities and decorated so nice!
