Heritage Woods of Huntley, LLC

Heritage Woods of Huntley is truly the only assisted living facility I would recommend. My 96 mom was only there for about 6 months before her passing but I honestly feel she enjoyed every moment there because of the amazing, caring and compassionate staff. She truly loved her interactions with everyone from the administrative staff, therapist, activity and dietary staff. She called the nursing and personal care staff her angels! Absolutely everyone there worked as a team and made it their personal mission to provide whatever was needed. The added gift was the amazing friends she made in her short time there. It was a true gift to her children to watch her enjoy these new relationships that brought her such joy! Thank you for your commitment to providing such loving care to my mom.

Deciding to trust the care of a parent to an assisted living facility can be a daunting task to say the least. My mother was 94 years old when we (my mother and I) decided that Heritage Woods of Huntley was where she wanted to be. That was almost a year ago. I had looked at other facilities prior to placing my trust in Heritage Woods. I am confident now that we made the right decision. The staff are the most friendly and helpful folks that you would ever want to meet and trust your loved ones care to. The staff is truly a "team" and they all pitch in to help out in any way that they can so that everything continues to run smoothly even in the absence of someone for illness or vacation for example. It is great that there are activities available for the residents to participate in from weekly bingo, to field trips for shopping etc. as well as physical activities to keep them physically active. All of these activities may not be for everyone but at least the opportunities are there. I can only hope that when I am ready or need to be in an assisted living facility, that I can find one like Heritage Woods.

My 90 year old father has been at Heritage Woods for a little over a month and he's doing great! The staff has been so helpful with all our questions. My father needs help with a ostomy bag and the staff was able to help teach him how to manage it himself. From the front desk, dining room and everyone that comes in contact with my Dad has been wonderful. We made the right decision with Heritage Woods.

The staff at Heritage Woods is top-notch. Always responsive to family concerns to meet the residents’ needs. We are confident that our loved one is well-cared for in a respectful environment. They are truly one-of-a-kind, and we are grateful for their hard work, long hours and efforts to make HW a home away from home.

If you are looking for an assisted living facility that feels like home and will take care of your loved one as if they were family, then Heritage Woods is the place to go. I looked at a lot of assisted living places in the area when scouting for a place for my parents, and the warmth and coziness of Heritage Woods struck me on the first visit, first time. The residents hang out in the lobby to chat. The staff know everyone's name. They have activities for folks to join or not join - up to them, and they make sure people are doing well mentally. Importantly, everyone who works here seems to like working here, and that attitude carries over into the care they deliver. You won't find a more genuine, supportive and caring environment for your loved one.
