HERON HOUSE

Heron House is a lifesaver… We recently needed to move my 89 yr old mother Into assisted care. Heron House is perfect… They’re caring and loving, with the right level of staff. This is not the newest facility, but the warmth and caring that my mom is receiving far out way any other consideration…

This place is probably good for assisted living but not for memory Care. My mom laid in bed for 3 days with a horrific urinary tract infection before they would send her to the hospital. If they don't come out and eat, they don't eat. Of their time in their room with the door shut in the dark. Mom never got her showers continually losing her clothes. Their staff certainly is not trained to have a memory care facility. If you love your loved one, think twice.

My Dad has been at Heron House for 2 months and he has had a smooth adjustment thanks to the staff!!!! Everyone has been attentive helpful and patient! ❤️👍😊 Well it has now been over 16 months and Dad is happy living at Heron House. The staff is still very attentive, personable and patient with him. When he lost his glasses some of them noticed right away and helped look for them. These are the little things that matter. He also loves the food! It has now been over 2 years since we moved Dad to Heron House. It was the best decision. He is now in Memory care and I have absolutely no worries or concerns. The staff is still fabulous. Whenever I have questions I am treated with respect and kindness. It’s not easy watching a parent age but Heron House is a huge help. Thank you for all you do! Well, my Dad fell asleep in death peacefully under hospice care right in his own room at Heron House. Everyone was very caring during the whole process. I would especially like to thank Tara who was continually available and patient with our entire family for the two years and 3 months Dad made Heron House his home. Everyone made us feel like family, part of the Heron House family. Thank you again for everything you do caring for our dear loved ones. 🩷

A great place! Worth the Stars. I have at 84 been here 6+ months. Very good food and social life. During the recent storm ( 2024 ) we did very well. Having staff stay overnight. Breakfast and lights on as we awoke. Felt safe thanks to a smart hard working Management team. Pets allowed, a family style always present.

My mother has been in Heron House for over 6 months now and our family is very pleased with the quality of the facility, including the management, staff, activities, food, and cleanliness. One of the first things that we noticed and appreciated was how the staff worked to get my mother acclimated to her new environment and how they always greet her by name with a smile. During the initial transition period I had an opportunity to meet with the Director, Tara, and interact with the staff members across most functions. All were professional, friendly, and very helpful.
