Highvue manor is great. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is great. Also there's a worker here her name is Jen she's great she helped me with moving into my room yesterday as I moved in on February 2nd and I have to say I don't plan on leaving this place anytime soon. As this place is home for me now.

Independent living. The good-A/c in the summer, nice breakfast and lunch. Staff non-abusive. (Your not supposed to be abused but in 2023 it might be a surprise). The bad-clients packed in like sardines. I was promised my own room at the end I was on my way to a double. (Two sides to every story.)I missed my moms wake because the owner wanted to switch rooms. I offered to have someone come in and help me organize. The owner said no “your a slob.” (That’s mister slob to him. )I get VA disability pay for this types of assistance . Then there is the worst part about this place -the giant hill to get to this this place. 99.9 % of clients walk and most are in walkers. The hill is a on a 40% angle and is about 3/4s of a football field long (approximately) , halfway up my heart was coming out of my mouth. As a result many clients are shut-ins. It’s on State ST which is famous for pedestrian hits. AND just wait for the winter. The clients are very pale, depressed, some morbidly obese. (angry too). The place has no privacy and is overcrowded.(The janitors do a good job and are friendly though). The VA said this is the best place available….I hope not.as usual the poor get screwed. It’s very crowded. Also with COVID 19 this place is a superspreader, flu also. The staff is super friendly though. There you go! Make up your own mind!
