INSPIRED LIVING AT PALM BAY

My mother and father entered PBMC about a year and a half ago. It was a tough time for them and for the family, but PBMC made the transition as easy as possible. I've been very happy and totally satisfied with every aspect from sales to care to management to maintenance to the accommodations. It feels more like a "condo" and assisted living then a memory care. It's unique, home-like, very clean and well maintained. The courtyard is very nice. Most importantly, the entire staff is truly loving and caring. From the beginning, Megan made my life easier, and helped with every aspect of moving my parents into PBMC. She even helped by finding me benefits from the VA for my father. There are too many details to mention. The Executive Director, Kimberly, is excellent. She's been such a great help before taking this position and I couldn't be happier that she is the director. The nursing staff is fantastic. Kimberly, Kizzy, Ariel... all of them are extremely competent, kind, patient and strong in what is at times a very difficult and diverse job. The large general staff that do meals, general care, entertain, help with bathing, etc... they are so caring, patient and kind. Diana, ... I feel bad not listing everyone's name but there are so many. I'm so grateful to them all. Like I said, it's a difficult job at times. They amaze me. This also includes the Chef(s) and cooking staff as well as laundry and cleaning staff. Ardean has one of the toughest jobs and she brings the joy. Chris is so helpful and skilled in maintenance. Denise and Patty are great hosts. Linda is doing a great job in Wellness. This was such a difficult and scary thing for me. I love my parents. This situation was not what I wanted to happen but was necessary. PBMC made my parents and my life better. It hasn't been easy per se, but I can rest easy knowing my parents are safe, comfortable, well cared for, and loved in a fun and home-like environment.

we love Palmbay memory care. Was very nervous about putting my stepmom in assisted living. From the start of dealing with Palm memory care the experience was excellent. The staff is amazing. They really do care about their Jobs. My stepmom is very comfortable there which makes the whole experience that much better.

I cannot say enough great sentiments about Palm Bay Memory Care! Starting with Megan, who truly embraces the meaning of a caring human being! From the very beginning of our journey with my Uncle Ken, who is traveling a journey with Dementia, all the way to his acceptance and ability to move in this month, we are blessed! She was able to save our family and reestablish the hope we all needed to truly make him comfortable. His journey hasn’t been easy, especially at the 2 previous Memory Care Centers he resided at. My expectations have been surpassed already! The caring team at PBMC will blow you away! From the front desk attendant, to the amazing nurses, Ariel being one of them, and the leadership team, the Chef, and all the employees, we are so happy! Ariel is caring, helpful, a great communicator, and immediately put me at ease. She, like everyone at PB, really do seem to love their jobs. We visited several times to ensure this was the right match and the fact that every single employee (and residents!) stopped to say hello, introduce themselves, and make us feel comfortable, made a huge difference and is like no other MC center in our county. The Chef made a special meal, spent some time with us, and was obviously engaged with the residents. It is easy to tour and look on the internet, but take it from us, you just “feel” it when you are there! We met the Executive Director, she was kind, very engaging, and wanted to make sure this was the best final home for Ken. The other huge factor in wanting Ken to reside at PB, Megan continued to follow up just to check on us months ago when I first called and inquired, all the way through him moving in. She was there to listen and give referrals and advice when no one else wanted to understand and get to know Ken as a person…not as a patient! Another first for a MC center! I never expected to have a terrible experience when this started over a year and a half ago, but PB is the only place I would want for our family. She even referred me to get his Psych visit and care giver to help with his overall health, while he was in ANOTHER center! The previous center dropped the ball for 5 months and talk about a night and day difference. Additionally, they have engaging programs, I have received follow up calls, he is getting Dr, visits and communicating, Ken is getting settled, and I just know in my heart, they are the best. It is always clean, smells fresh, the residents are genuinely happy (I have met several now!) and everyone is always talking, walking around, and engaging, It is lively, but peaceful. I wanted to take the time to compliment in great appreciation and to help others who are traveling on this same journey. It can devastate, confuse, and test everything…but it doesn’t have to define you. There are caring people who work as a team and really make a difference. Palm Bay Memory Care is the PLACE! So grateful.

I visited my Dad today for the first time since Grace took over. I couldn’t believe the amazing changes! Erika, the Executive Director, has stayed in contact from the moment Grace took over but we met her in person for the first time today. She was doing some kind of celebration for the staff but she took time to meet with us and she was so caring and helpful. The staff were all smiling and happy and I could tell they felt appreciated. What a great change! Then there was Thomas, the dining director, Wow! He came to meet with us with a pen and paper and took notes about what Dad likes and doesn’t like. We watched him with some of the residents. He loves them like they are his own grandparents! Living far away has been tough but now that we have met the new team, we are thrilled we made the choice to trust Palm Bay Memory Care with our Dad. Thank you!

My dad is a resident at Palm Bay Memory Care in Palm Bay. We have had such a great experience with this facility from the Executive Director, the Sales Director, the staff and everyone we’ve encountered. They always make us feel so welcome and taken such great care of my father. The facility is very nice and well maintained. They always keep us informed on what’s going with my dad and have gone above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend Palm Bay Memory Care if you find yourself in the position of having to put a loved one in Memory Care.
