Transitioning a loved one from their longtime home into a memory care home is never easy. We feel very lucky to have found The Joy Senior Living. The owners are very involved and accessible which gives it a much more family feeling. Mellissa, the Executive Director is wonderful. She nurtures a culture rooted in genuine care and you can see that on a daily basis. The caregivers are attentive and compassionate. If you are looking for an assisted living or memory care home that can give you a peace of mind knowing your loved one will be well taken care of, The Joy is your place.

Amazing facility and staff! I love how the staff engages with the residents. The owners are so friendly and just as engaging! They even offered to help my sons move my uncle's furniture into the facility. I can rest easy knowing my uncle is in great hands with the quality care The Joy Senior Living Center provides!!

I don't think I could come up with enough words to express what this place has meant to our family. My mother has advanced Alzheimers disease, is nearly non-verbal and has had a rapid decline. I have had her at three other Walton County assisted living facilities. The care my mother received at these other facilities was beyond negligent. The caregivers didn't care, put in the minimal effort and my mother was allowed to escape, only to be found wandering hwy 78. With her advanced disease and mine and my husbands work schedule, bringing her to live with us would have been unsafe for her. I was hesitant to trust another facility but after speaking with the owners Nick and Bryan, I decided to give it a try. THIS HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST BLESSING!!!! They tuck my mom into bed every night after she has had dinner and made sure she has been changed into a comfy night gown. I even saw a care giver give her kisses goodnight and told her can't wait to see her tomorrow. SO SWEET! I have been begging the prior facilities to do this, as this is how she sleeps best at night! They make sure she is engaged in daily activities and not just sitting in her bed lonely. It is such a hard decision to have your loved ones live in an assisted living/memory care facility, but this place has made her feel like she is home. My mother even said to me that she feels like she is at home there. For the past 3 years she kept telling, I don't belong here. Thank you Joy Senior Living for finally helping us bring her home and keeping her safe.

I visited the Joy Senior Living Facility once during the final construction phase and for the grand opening ceremony! It’s a beautiful, and well built facility! It’s also located in the heart of the City of Loganville, which is a bonus for residents and visitors alike! Just a few hundred yards from the local shops! The owners have done a fantastic job bringing their vision to life! I’ve known some of the people who helped create this project for years! Quality people producing quality results!

I recently toured the Joy Senior Living and was impressed! The staff were caring and personable, the food was delicious, and the environment was very welcoming. They have exciting amenities like a community garden and walking trails coming soon, alongside great ones already in place like pet therapy days and bingo! Everyone there seemed happy and friendly. The Joy is a great new addition to the community!
