I can't say enough nice things about The Grande. The staff is amazing. They always take their time and answer any questions or concerns we may have. They have been a wonderful support for my family during this transition. Their reassurance has meant the world to us. They know how to handle my family member and are taking great care of him. They always have his best interest at heart. We always feel welcome from the minute we walk in to visit. It give us all great comfort knowing our family member is safe and being taken care of.

All the staff here, director, nurses, therapists, maintenance and aides have been outstanding! Such concern and interest is shown to our loved one. The family is always given consideration and time when needed. We are pleased to be part of this memory CARE facility!

Not appropriate for “aging in place” They keep people they don’t have the means to care for just for the money then put the person on hospice and blame the hospice company when things don’t get done properly or timely. Nurses are very defensive when they are questioned about not doing their job. Hospice is a third party company that does visits at the end of life. This facility needs to stop lying to families making them believe they can care for someone who needs 24/7 nursing care because they can not. They have the nerve to brag about having a nurse more than they are required to by the state. Well why keep residents that are total care if you don’t have a nurse 24/7? These people only care about beds being filled. Also the rooms are filthy. Walls are dirty. They must not have housekeepers. Notice how the good reviews are from… staff…..

We had to place our mom in a memory care facility in December 2024. We had done a lot of research as we weren't going to let her be placed just anywhere. Our favorite facility had no availability and we were on a wait list. Time became short and I was viewing a facility one day when it turned out I accidentally went to the wrong location. Turned out to be what we all call a happy accident. This facility is a former assisted living facility turned into an all memory care facility. This means the rooms and public areas are all large and open and don't have the closed in, locked feel of a traditional memory care facility. I did quite a bit more research after my visit as it wasn't the original facility I had meant to visit. Four months in and my entire family is so grateful for that day as our mom appears to be content, well taken care of and enjoying her stay. We are there regularly and there have never been any red flags to concern us. I am in contact with staff regularly and they respond promptly and address each and every concern I have. The head nurse, Dawn, is especially helpful to my family. I contact her regularly if I notice something when I'm visiting, or if my mom mentions something, and she always lets me know what happened or is happening and how any issues have been or will be addressed. Nothing big, just regular issues of where some clothing item might be or how my mom likes her hair styled after her shower. Nothing too big or too small is not handled by the the staff. They are always kind and I have watched enough of staff interaction to have not ever seen anything but caring attention towards the residents. Tierra, the director, is equally responsive. She has been great since day one with helping us make the transmission easy for us and our mom. Les, the head of Maintenance, has been helpful as well at helping us get my mom's electronics set up and making sure her room is at a comfortable temp, for my mom anyway. Other than when the flu was going around the facility I have never been there when the place didn't look and smell clean and my mom's room wasn't in good shape. The staff all know her and have learned her likes and dislikes and appear to work with them. The physical therapy team is great and our mom has been doing really with their help. Overall, my family is entirely happy to have found a place where my mom appears to be valued and respected as she is by her family. It has taken a huge weight off of us to know we have placed her somewhere she is well cared for and treated with dignity.

I’ve been making deliveries to The Grande for years and the front desk lady has the least friendly disposition of any front desk I deal with. Not sure if she’s always like this or if it’s just service workers she has an issue with, but I always dread my interactions with her. My interactions with everyone else at The Grande have always been professional and courteous, but the front desk attendant has been so nasty that I finally felt like I needed to leave a review.
