KINWELL AT SUNSET HILLS

Big shout out to the new Memory Care Director Tammy, she has hit the ground running. You can tell she has a passion for memory care and her communication has been amazing. I was able to have a heart to heart conversation with her about the care of mom and she actually took the time to stop and listen. I’ve been frustrated with for sometime with this memory care but she gave me some hope in change. Keep up the good work young lady!

I toured many memory facilities in the area and I felt the Grande to be a top option. Jonathan and Carol were great to work with and gave generously with their time to provide me with all the information needed in my decision making. I felt comfortable moving my family member there. The facility is clean, residents look happy and all the staff seemed very engaging. Room sizes are generous and the activities are plentiful. This is never an easy move but they were making it as easy as possible for me.

I had an outstanding experience with Carole Vierling and Cliffie Rucker. They were responsive, patient, and very knowledgeable. Despite arriving without an appointment, I immediately felt at ease. The inside was impressive—bright and inviting. The building and its location are both beautiful. We ultimately chose a different place for my mom, but that decision was based more on family dynamics. We might move here in the future.

This place is such a disappointment. When We moved mom in everyone was so nice and helpful. Now I can’t get anyone to address our concerns for our mother. The room and bathroom is always dirty. Mother’s clothes are not laundered in a timely manner, so the hamper is full and piles of dirty clothes are on the floor. Me st of the time many staff members are sitting around on their phones when our family members visit.

Communication to families is terrible. Some aides were nice, friendly while others showed little compassion and weren't helpful when our mom needed it. When checking in, would just open door asked quick question then left. Rooms not cleaned on regular basis. Did deliver meals to room but just threw on table, didn't make sure she ate.
