If you are looking for a kind, caring, competent team to take care of your aging parent - Kirkland Village is the place. Our mother started in independent living (10 yrs), then due to health issues moved to Skilled Care and has been in Briar Holmes Personal Care (aka Assisted Living) for three years. We (my mother and her family) rate Kirkland A+. Under the inspiring leadership of Susan Regalis (who we hold in high regard), the residents are always treated with dignity and respect and empowered to make decisions on their own whenever possible. The staff understand the challenges of losing one's independence. The Kirkland team has provided our family insight and understanding about caring for the elderly that are health compromised. The culture is warm and nurturing. The employees are capable, friendly and engaging. Any family questions or comments are treated as top priority. There is cooperation, coordination, and a esprit de corps across the board with all support departments and workers - nurses - personal aides - therapists - chefs - waiters - drivers - all exude the caring culture of the company. If you seek peace of mind for your loving, aging family member knowing she or he will be cared for and well treated when you are not there- then Kirkland Village is the place to choose. "God bless them, everyone of them!"

My mother and I needed to find a facility that would be able to rehab my grandmother, who has dementia, after a very long hospital stay. All of the staff that we worked with were very caring and helpful. They understood her unique needs and she was successfully discharged. It's hard to weed through all the options when looking for the best place for your loved one. We were extremely pleased and recommend Kirkland Village!

After 10 weeks in the hospital my mother needed short term rehab. I am so glad that we chose Kirkland. The staff was so kind and friendly to my mother as they worked with her to transition her back to daily life. Having dementia my mother needed the extra care provided by the awesome and caring staff. They are selfless and keep the residents engaged throughout the day. If I had to do it all again, I would definitely chose Kirkland.

Kirkland is the most amazing place I have ever visited! My grandparents are so happy there! And everything there makes them so so happy! So thank you kirkland for helping my grandparents feel so happy and safe! And they have so many fun things to choose from! Like the indoor swimming pool and hot tub! And the library! And the marketplace! And there are just many more! I could go all day about how good this facility is! It is my 7th week in a row sleeping over there and I will never get tired of it! I feel so happy at Kirkland village! It is my home away from home! I definitely recommend it!

As a resident with my husband in Independent Living at Kirkland, I have been extremely pleased and impressed with the staff, the community, and the activities available. Prior to moving in, our apartment was renovated and decorated to our specifications and was in move-in ready condition the day we arrived. With 3 different dining venues, we have variety in our meals, while also being able to cook in our fully-equipped kitchen or go out to a restaurant nearby. The fitness center is well-equipped and there are classes led by an experienced staff person in the pool, in the aerobics room, or in your own apartment by watching the in-house channel at scheduled times. If you like woodworking, there’s a place to do that. If you like gardening, you’ll find a place to get your hands dirty in the soil and add beauty to the ambiance at Kirkland. Concerts, bridge, book groups, discussion groups on contemporary topics - these and more are at Kirkland. But suffice it to say, we feel secure, safe, and comfortable at Kirkland Village.
