KIVA OF MOUNT DORA

Kiva has been an amazing and wonderful home for my dad! My dad has been there almost a month and I could not be happier. Julie is phenomenal in the way she takes care of all her members. The whole staff is so loving and kind. My Dad was at a different home for almost a year and he never got care like this. At Kiva they pay attention to every detail and every need of all their members. Julie also keeps in touch with me with everything dad is going through, making sure he has everything he needs. My Dad loves it there and has told me he is so happy he is there. Kiva gives me such peace knowing he is loved and so well taken care of. Thank you to the whole Kiva staff, May God bless all of you!

My father lived at Kiva for 3 years and had a wonderful experience there until he passed away. He enjoyed the interaction with the other residents. The staff took excellent care of him from the beginning to end. They always honored his privacy and took care of his belongings. They notified the family of any problems or needs that he had. Thank you for a great job.

We can't say enough about the team at Kiva from admin, to the nursing staff, to the amazing chefs, everybody involved in caring for my mother was extremely thoughtful compassionate and sensitive to her every need. After visiting several care facilities we immediately recognized Kiva was where she needed to be. Even as her condition changed they were able to recognize what level of care she required. The house truly gives one a sense of home and you can feel the love. They offer various activities and celebrate the major holidays involving family and friends. Knowing mom felt at home gave us such peace of mind knowing she was receiving excellent care. We highly recommend Kiva of Mount Dora for that extra level of care that you know your loved one deserves.

I have a family friend who stays at Kiva of Mount Dora who also has some memory issues. They have treated her with such patience when her memory issues cause problems, such as believing the whole place is her house in particular and she insists everyone start saving on the electric bill!!! We are fortunate to get pictures when we can't visit and most importantly, she is happy. I wish this facility was close enough for my own elderly mother to stay there...

When it came time to look for an Assisted Living facility for my mom I knew what I had envisioned for her. I wanted a Bed and Breakfast type atmosphere with lots of social interaction with other residents and staff.  I wanted real home cooked food, activities and a loving and caring environment. I found all of this and more at Kiva of Mount Dora. My mom has now been there for over a year and she loves it! And I couldn't be happier that she is safe and well taken care of by the awesome staff. ******6 stars!!
