LAKEVIEW PERSONAL CARE

Our Dad lived at Lakeview, Darlington and our entire family couldn't have been more pleased with this facility. The entire staff was incredibly caring and compassionate. Every employee made him and our family feel welcomed and cared for, from the holiday dinners and parties to the everyday visits and entertainment they were all so kind, friendly and helpful. The beautiful country setting, the nicely decorated facility and beautiful outdoor areas make it even more impressive! We are so grateful we found this facility for Dad. Thank you all!

I had the opportunity to visit this facility a few weeks ago. I was with a friend visiting her loved ones. We walked around the entire facility, but spent the majority of the time outside in the patio area. It was lovely. I could tell that many of the residents enjoyed this area. I also want to take note of my observation of the interaction between staff and residents was heartwarming. They were treated as if they were all friends. So much laughter. This is definitely at the top of my list if I were ever in the situation to find placement for one of my parents. Keep up the good work.

Jenny, who manages the kitchen, is always going above and beyond and advocating for the residents. I have visited here multiple times and every resident seems elated to see Jenny coming down the halls. Which tells me she brings JOY into their lives and days. The kitchen staff here is amazing!! They go above and beyond for the residents. I’ve worked in facilities like this and haven’t seen a staff as caring as this place and definitely haven’t seen a kitchen director that goes above and beyond like jenny does. If there’s anyone I would trust to watch after my loved ones it’s this staff particularly with Jenny in charge. She checks every box for the residents and makes sure they are happy and Safe! If you visit this place stop by the kitchen and say Hi to Jenny, she’s a pleasure!

Lakeview is more than just a personal care home, its family oriented and everyone knows everyone. The Residents are always smiling and enjoying the daily activities, you would never see them doing the same old activity over and over. The nursing staff is almost always running around to make sure every resident is assisted with anything they need at that moment. The Dietary team always goes above and beyond to make sure each residents needs are met when it comes to enjoying a good meal! Lakeview is very appreciative of all of our residents and the trust they have in us as a team!

My uncle has been a resident of Lakeview for 3 months; the staff has been absolutely wonderful, he's not the easiest to care for and they have done so much to make him feel at home and well cared for. From the top executive to the maintenance man and everyone in between, they all knew his name on day 3 and all were watching out for him and his needs. He said "the food is good and the people are nice.". The building is being renovated, that will be great once it's all together. So far, it's been far better than expected.
