Langdon Place Of Dover, A Sr Living Comm

My mother was at the Langdon Place memory care facility for a year and a half. She was well cared for, and the staff was responsive to her changing needs. I was confident my mother was in the best place possible for her.

Recently my mom (89 years old) went from the hospital to Langdon Place for physical rehab. Greeted by Mary and cared for by many, Mom made great strides in her recuperation, leaving their facility in much greater shape than when she went in. Cudos to Mary and her crew!!

My Dad was in the memory care unit at Langdon Place. The level of care by his nurses went above and beyond our expectations. He was treated with love, care and compassion up to the day he died. He was 92. They not only cared for him, but also took the time to help my Mom understand what was happening to him. Their compassion carried over to her as well. They are truly angels. My sister and I could not have been more thankful. We will be forever grateful.

I’m writing this on behalf of my mom, Dee Hardy. She had a wonderful experience on the skilled nursing unit. She was there for 8 weeks and felt that she was very well tended to. The staff, some in particular, went above and beyond and were very empathetic and kind. It’s been 3 1/2 weeks since her discharge and she speaks every day of Langdon Place and the fond memories she has of her stay there.

Our mother has been at Langdon Place of Dover , memory care , for almost 7 months now. The change in mother’s health and overall well-being has been dramatic. And I believe it is due 100% to the outstanding care and attention she is receiving at Langdon Place! Prior to her arrival at LPD, she was regularly requiring trips to the Emergency Department due to falls, illnesses, etc. in the past 7 months she has not had one serious fall or been ill! No trips to the hospital. And she is daily being encouraged to join in all the multiple activities Langdon Place offers : lunch outings, musical concerts, apple harvest parties, trivia, tea parties, and so on. The staff continues to provide all the extra care you would hope your loved one would receive. Our mother is thriving under the care of the excellent staff at Langdon Place of Dover and I feel moving her there was the absolute best decision I could have made!
