LANGIT'S ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY

Visited facility in the month of February 2025. Facility was unclean and poorly kept. Reak of urine and cigarette smoke. Not only does it smell like urine and cigarette smoke, but the front desk actually sell cigarettes to people people who reside in the assisted living home. Most of the residents clothing were dirty and smelled like mold and cigarette smoke. DHEC needs to close this facility immediately.

This place is a Disaster waiting to happen. This is next step to being in a homeless shelter. My love one is not inside of this awful facility. Some staff there are very rude, and show no concern for the well being of the clients there. It is very sad people are being treated that way .. Also I forgot to mention my mom’s clothes was forever being stolen from her room. Never any explanation ,staff will tell you No personal Tv not responsible if stolen…

Is it a beautiful modern facility? No, but… the Langits are caring people. I visited the facility this year to check on my brother. They showed me all his files. They keep up with his medical stuff and were very organized. They send him to the hospital or rehab when he’s not well. The place was old but clean. My brothers room was very tidy. He told me he got a bath every week and has his nails taken care of. He was content. How many of us can say that. He’s not living in the back of his truck on the street. I’m grateful.!

I can't say much other than it is so so. For the location and price it is acceptable.

The staff at Langits are professional and show love and care for the residents. Most of the residents are forgotten about or no longer loved or wanted by family, friends and society at large. The Langits do an excellent job and i thank God for them.
