LOTUS VILLAGE

I usually don't write reviews but I feel like the folks at Lotus Village needs a shot in the arm. My mom has been there in Memory Care for over a year now. I couldn't ask for a better team than the ones at Lotus Village. I'm there 5-6 days a week and we couldn't have made a better choice. Every one is wonderful. By the time I get there in the morning Mom is feed, dressed, bed made and ready to start the day. She really likes the activies especially Bingo. I know during the recent ice storm Christina the Ex Director stayed for 3 straight days. Now that's dedication. That woman runs a tight ship and I'm so proud she does. All the folks are very caring and attentive. Can't brag on them enough!

I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Lotus Memory Care in Cumming, Georgia. My wife, Brenda, has been a resident there since July 2025, and I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional care and compassion she receives every single day. When we first began looking for a memory care facility, I had so many concerns—would she be happy? Would she be safe? Would I be able to stay connected to her care? Lotus has exceeded every expectation. The facility itself is conveniently located, making it easy for me to visit regularly, and the ample parking means I never have to worry about accessibility. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The facility is impeccably clean, well-staffed, and welcoming. Brenda has been assigned to Jessie, who has been absolutely wonderful with her. The entire staff treats every resident with genuine kindness and respect, and I've come to trust them completely. They call me promptly with updates if Brenda falls or isn't feeling well, and I always feel comfortable calling them when I'm at home with any questions or concerns. Their honesty and transparency have given me tremendous peace of mind. The medical care at Lotus is outstanding. Nurses are always on staff, doctors are on call, and the medical team is attentive to Brenda's needs. Housekeeping is reliable and does an excellent job keeping everything spotless. Even the billing and collections department has been flawless—I've never had an issue with my bill. What truly sets Lotus apart is how they make residents feel valued and loved. They celebrate holidays with enthusiasm, take time to make each resident feel special on their birthday, and schedule fun entertainment regularly. Brenda has enjoyed participating in arts and crafts, and there are two gathering areas where residents can enjoy snacks together—they especially love watching Hallmark movies as a group. The facility also offers ice cream, juice, and cookies regularly, which has become something the residents look forward to. I was initially worried about Brenda's happiness and social life, but she has made many wonderful friends at Lotus, and through her, I've gotten to know several families as well. The sense of community is remarkable. Recently, they took the residents on a field trip to a hibachi restaurant, which Brenda thoroughly enjoyed. She also gets her hair and nails done right on site, which means so much to her. One gesture that touched me deeply was during Christmas, when the staff went to our home and brought back many items that were important and special to Brenda to decorate the memory care side where she resides. That level of thoughtfulness and care is what makes Lotus truly exceptional. The outdoor patio area provides a lovely space for residents to play games, sit in the sun, and visit with one another. Inside, there's a nice area for reading and doing puzzles together. The laundry service is reliable, and every detail seems to be carefully considered. Choosing a memory care facility for a loved one is one of the hardest decisions a family can make. I am grateful every day that we chose Lotus. Brenda is safe, happy, and well cared for, and I have complete confidence in the staff. My stepdad was at Lotus for nearly 2 years. He was in the Memory Care area, b/c he had Alzheimer's. We spent 2-3 days a week at the facility with him, the other residents and the staff. Everyone became like family to us and we really enjoyed visiting and still do. We also utilized Agape Hospice palliative care as well. Agape and Lotus worked very well together to ensure my stepdad's well-being, happiness and health. We would occasionally take my stepdad out of Lotus for time with our family at home, but he seemed so much more content when he was back at Lotus. During the time he was transitioning to end-of-life at Lotus, we really got to see just how much the staff loved him. They came in frequently to love on him, pray over him and talk to him. Alzheimer's is such a difficult disorder to deal with and such a long goodbye for family. What we witnessed of the staff during the nearly two years was such care and compassion for all of the residents. They utilize such great ways to stimulate the residents and bring joy to them each day. We are so incredibly thankful for each and every one of the staff who took the time and loved my stepdad as their own family. We look forward to continuing to visit and volunteer there. I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff and environment at Lotus Village! No transition is easy , but everyone at Lotus Village has taken the time and care to give my dad just what he needs- physically and socially-on a daily basis. He has become much happier over these last months despite the challenges that come with aging . Lotus is a place where residents are respected and supported no matter their circumstances. Thank you, Lotus Village, for caring for residents and families!

As a Hospice provider and professional, I wanted to provide a little feedback on this wonderful community. Many communities have a good Executive Director. Many have a wonderful Nurse and Memory Care. Some have a fantastic Marketer. And some have a great Concierge. It is very unusual to see a community that has the most amazing of all of them. The Executive Director Kristina runs such an incredibly tight ship. The evening med techs are certainly a game changer, this is where sometime the ball can get dropped. NOT at Lotus Village. The evening crew is second to none. In my opinion, if you are looking for a community for a loved one, there is NO better place.
