LARK SPRINGS

Many people intend to stay in their own homes, my father included. When the time comes where it's simply no longer safe for them at home, the family has a lot of considerations to take into account, primarily to ensure they are safe, secure, and well taken care of. I'm grateful for the kindness, care, and love that the staff at Lark Springs showed my father. Nancy and her staff knows everyone by name and treats everyone like family. My father was allowed to be himself and everyone at Lark Springs showed him much care and love.

Lark Springs took excellent care of my mother during her last couple months with us. They truly went above and beyond what would be expected, especially in helping us get my mom approved, situated, and comfortable in their facility. I was told the current owner took this place on as a project to turn a facility with poor ratings into the best in Colorado Springs, and I believe she was successful in her ambitions. The facility is clean and beautiful. There are always a couple adorable bunnies running around in the gorgeous courtyard. They allowed us to fully decorate my mom’s room any way we pleased. The staff were all very friendly, patient, and dedicated to doing their job well. As much as I hate my mom having to move out of her house, I can’t imagine a place that would help us feel more at home. I believe the people at Lark Springs are doing God’s work in helping the elderly.

In my professional capacity, I visit MANY facilities. Lark Springs being one I visit frequently. I was shocked to see the poor rating here. This facility is adorable. When you walk in it feels like a little home for its residents. Every single caregiver, nurse and administrator at this facility truly cares deeply for its residents and it shows. If you’re looking for a safe, sweet and compassionate home for your loved one, I highly recommend considering Lark Springs.

Lark Springs is right for us. I’ve toured many memory care facilities in town and chose it based on my loved one’s primary needs; expansive indoor/outdoor walk ability, right-sized privacy accommodations with spa-like showering (vs cramped traditional room showers/baths), and caring staff! Food is devoured and the place is bright and well maintained. We’re with them every day. A current sense of community, continuous improvement and love abides.

Such a nice community with caring staff. The renovation that happened a couple years ago modernized and added the touches to enhance the lives of the residents who stay there. The outside space is unmatchable in the area. Safe, clean, well managed.
