LEGACY VILLAGE OF STILLWATER

Things have gotten a little better so I've increased my review to Three stars. I found that some of their problems were caused by staff that did not log things taken from the supply closet which caused them to be short of supplies for residents that had signed up for the service. I told Legacy that until they have a better system to remove us from that service and I will start bringing briefs and supplies again. When I came by to see my companion on February 9th, there was only one brief. I asked for more because he was running out. I come back on Wednesday the 11th of February and there's still just one brief. Makes me wonder what's going on. Also there was no wipes. These are all supposed to be supplied so decreasing a star on my review. The restaurant has improved with more help and food is better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ After submitting my negative review I did receive a call and email from legacy. I voiced my concerns and things are better for my companion. We will see if it continues . Giving them more stars for now. What is happening you guys were such a nice place and staff wonderful but there's not enough staff and the restaurant downstairs I took my resident there one evening we barely got waited on I had a bug in my salad and it was gritty something is going on with Legacy please don't let this happen. We've been there a year and a half everything was good but now I'm not sure if we'll stay or not please do something. Continued: I visited 01/21/2026 and my resident was wet and dirty. I got one of the briefs they supply and it was 2 sizes to big. He wears a small and these were large. Because the brief was so big on him I had to changed the bedding because it leaked on the bed. I was looking for the wipes they supply and there were none, so I had to make due. Then I noticed there was an empty plastic wrapper for women's pink briefs beside the package of large briefs. They had him wearing women's underwear. I asked for small briefs and wipes, but they were out of wipes. Since I pay for them to supply wipes and briefs you would think they could do that, but obviously not. I like to visit with my resident and I can't seem to do that because of issues like this. You can do better!

My husband has been in Memory Care for many months now at Legacy Village. We are both learning as we move through the dementia process, and it is a learning curve, to be sure. I have been so pleased with the cleanliness of his room and the facilities on his floor. Itza and Dulce are excellent at their jobs and keep his room clean, bright, and spotless while being so pleasant and a joy to talk to. I'm so thankful that they work so hard to maintain his area for him (and me) as we navigate the daily ups and downs of this disease. This hardworking team deserves to be recognized for all their efforts and rewarded accordingly.

I’ve moved a few times in my life, but have never had an experience like when I moved my mom into Legacy. Everyone is nice-and I do mean EVERYONE. From receptionist to maintenance crew to kitchen staff and even other residents, we felt welcomed, were offered help, and really made to feel at home. I couldn’t be happier!!

I ask mother one every visit if she is happy at Legacy Village. Thank goodness she answered yes. It is the main reason she is 105 Angela is a wonderful person who cares for my mother. I could give many details. Trust me, she is a blessing

We looked at all the amenities, all the offerings for apartments, and settled on a villa! We were blown away at the elegance, the service, and the options for different types of living arrangements. Chelsea the sales manager was absolutely wonderful. She answered every question and didn't pressure us at all. The facility is way better than the other assisted living places we investigated.
