I had an excellent experience today visiting your facility. Tara provided me with relevant information including floor plans and costs and she took me on a tour to show off your amenities and vacant rooms. We discussed my expectations and how Legend could meet them. She welcomed my observations and encouraged me to visit again with my mother to show her everything as well. I am in the very early stages exploring switching from intermittent home care to assisted living. Again, Tara was professional, knowledgeable, personable and very helpful in giving me tips on how to proceed. I am looking at other facilities as well but I was very impressed with what Legend can offer.

This place is great! The staff is always friendly! I feel like part of a family here. I’ve made many close friends. The nurses are very knowledgeable & helpful, have always been there for me, have always shown me compassion & there for me even if it was 3:00 in the morning. Tiffany has been my nurse since I moved in over 2 years ago & I’ll miss her & so many others when I move to my new place.

Remember, no place is perfect. But when one can’t care for a loved one themselves, in their own home, this is an excellent option. We placed my dad here after he broke a femur, then after surgery and rehab, broke the other femur. Residents can choose various sizes of apartments, choose meals in a dining room from a menu, and have plenty of activities to keep them busy should they choose to participate. If a resident needs home health, they come in and see them. I’m grateful Enhabit Home Health staff worked extremely well with Legend staff in caring for my dad. When it is time for Hospice care, they also seamlessly come in and help residents in that stage as well. I recommend this facility!! It was absolutely the best option for our family and we would choose it again. (Dad's apartment had plenty of closet space, nice bathroom with storage, and even a kitchen area with a refrigerator and large pantry space!)

The time came to find a new home for our relative. After visiting several places in Tulsa, we are so blessed and happy to have discovered The Legend at Tulsa Hills! The house is so nicely appointed with several conversation areas, cute apartments, a lovely dining room, a theatre and activity center, and a cozy fireplace that adds to the home feel! The staff have been so friendly and helpful with the transition, kind and patient. So much so, our relative at times thinks she is in a lovely hotel ( her words)! We can sleep at night and the worry is all but gone knowing she is safe, well fed, cared for, is socializing again, and her needs are met. Our family highly recommends a visit and tour to see if it is a fit for your loved one! (Photo taken in a private home 😊)

In the present-day culture, no one can haphazardly compile a group of people who understand the rewards of servitude. JESUS admonished his disciples “To be great in the Kingdom, learn to be the servants of all”. Having spent time over the span of several days coordinating my Mother’s transition to Legend at Tulsa Hills, the staff members intrigued me. No matter their capacity or responsibility, it is quite apparent that each of them have embraced the priority of serving their residents. My heart is comforted that my Mother will be provided this embracing treatment as my sister and I fly back across the USA to our homes. With gratitude I share this: the peace that has been afforded us is LEGEN-ary.
