This facility is a good place for my loved one-she is happy and content here. I would agree the staff is underpaid especially knowing the line of work that is demanded of the team- the staff works hard and tries their best- however the owner has little application for them- if you choose this place do it because the people on the ground working truly try their best- however remember if I could leave a rating for the owner themselves I would not leave but 1 star- this person should appreciate and reflect on those who are making their business what it is- and could be.

At the time, I was the power of attorney for my friend who was placed in this facility. She was still recovering from two broken hips, on Hospice, and wheelchair bound. I was dismayed to find she did not have a call button or an emergency pull in the bathroom in case of an emergency or for assistance if she were to fall. Her room was a good ways from the main area. I had to purchase a phone for her so she would have a way to contact the facility for assistance if needed. I was told by the manager that at one time the facility had call buttons but the owner had pulled them out. The facility was clean, the food was good, I know the facility met all the standards but it seemed to be short staffed. This facility was not a good fit for my friend.

My dad lived at Life Spire Assisted Living in Rio Rancho for the last 2 1/2 yrs. He had Dementia and it was very difficult to find a memory care facility that accepted Medicaid. I can’t begin to tell you how happy we were with the care my dad received, they really treated him like family. The staff was so caring and the hospice workers that came to treat my dad were out of this world. My dad recently passed away and everyone at Life Spire was so compassionate. I highly recommend this Assisted Living/Memory Care facility for your loved ones.

I worry about the care shown at this time facility. Two employees (Kayla and Cassandra) were seen being rude to an elderly woman asking her “Why do you need to shower everyday?” in a rude tone. They then left her naked in the shower and never came back to help her out. Also, I was told the owner doesn’t really care about this kind of stuff and calling them wouldn’t really make a difference.

I'm very grateful to Lynn and the entire team at Life Spire Rio Rancho for the warm and compassionate care my mother received while she was there. The atmosphere is very home-like, and staff members do their best to keep residents socially engaged. I recommend it whole-heartedly.
