LIZA'S HOUSE

Liza's Place is a comfortable, welcoming home... it is traditional and familiar in all the best senses (including home cooking). I found the visits heartening, engaging and yet relaxing. Mom took advantage of the choices: places/views and as well as things to do together. --It was fun to hear her laugh and tease...skills she still had at age 94. --Your size and ambiance were truly helpful. Staff were effective... seemed "tuned in" to Mother's priorities... which could be somewhat shifty. Thank you for her lovely stay. ---L. H.Daughter (who happens to be a gerontologist)

Toured and like the facility. Staff were friendly. Smell of apple muffins was in the air. Residents looked happy. Price comparable to others we looked at for our mom. Thanks for the great tour.

It was a difficult decision to move Dad from the house he had lived in for almost sixty years. We tried home health care aides for awhile, but he soon needed more care than they provided. We searched for an affordable, home-like personal care facility to meet Dad's needs. Liza's House turned out to be just the place for Dad. My siblings and I were very pleased with the attentive care he received at Liza's House this past year. Dad's personal and medication needs were met competently and compassionately. Communication was frequent between staff and family members and was especially appreciated as Dad's needs changed. He received so much TLC from the the staff Dad came to view Liza's House as home. This was a great relief to us, especially as his health began to decline. When it became necessary, Liza's staff teamed with hospice care to make Dad comfortable and content in his final days. We are very grateful for the wonderful people at Liza's House and the care Dad received there.

My mother had a great experience being at Lizas House. The staff is professional. They saw to her needs to make her stay comfortable and pleasant. The bedrooms are decorated with a homey feeling, her meals were delicious and the residents are friendly towards everyone.
