Vitality Living Overlook

Our family has had such a positive experience with the memory care department at this nursing home. The level of care, compassion, and attention my dad receives truly means more to us than words can say. Every need he has is consistently met, and we always feel confident that he is being cared for with dignity and respect. I especially want to recognize Yvie. She has been absolutely wonderful and goes above and beyond to make sure my dad’s voice is heard. Her patience, kindness, and genuine concern for him stand out, and it brings our family so much peace knowing she is part of his care team. We have never experienced anything other than superb service and care, and we are incredibly grateful for the memory care staff and the work they do every single day.

I recently toured Vitality Living Overlook and was honestly blown away. The rooms are spacious, bright, and genuinely feel like home. The renovations are beautiful with updated finishes, lots of natural light, and layouts that make the space feel really comfortable. What stood out most was how warm and caring the staff were; their enthusiasm for the community and the upgrades came through the entire tour. I left feeling confident and excited about the level of care and comfort offered here. I highly recommend visiting Vitality Living Overlook if you’re exploring senior living options.

I had a wonderful visit with my mom today in Memory Care! A huge shout-out to Yvie, the Memory Care Director. I always know visits will be special because Yvie pours her heart into making sure Memory Care is anything but dreary, she makes sure residents are engaged, entertained, and truly seen. Even with my mother’s advanced decline, she enjoyed listening to the music and was tapping her feet right along with it. Yvie gathered several residents, and we all played Uno together. There was so much laughter and joy, and my mom was even paying attention! It meant the world to me. Thank you, Yvie, for making today so fun. You are always so involved with your residents and meet them exactly where they are. The facility looks amazing, not just Assisted Living, but especially the incredible improvements in Memory Care!!

The staff is the entire reason for the 5 star rating! The genuine love and care for each resident is evident in their every interaction - each resident is treated with respect, and so are the families! Yvie, the Head of Memory Care, has been a Godsend! She patiently answered my many questions, and helped me embrace the new journey for my mother. She gave me ideas on everything from communicating with mom, to decorating her room. She truly helped make the transition an easy one for my mom, and had been her advocate every since! There aren't enough words to say a sufficient thank you!!!!

The renovations at this building are just stunning! The care staff smiles nonstop and loves these residents beyond measure. What great care they get! This management team at Vitality is 2nd to none. This is exactly what this community and this building needed! Thank you Vitality!!
