Lodge at Manito (The)

This place is incredible. Not only do they take excellent care of my grandmother. They also went to bat for my grandmother with a bad situation with an ER and ambulance drivers. They truly care for the residents, even the more difficult ones like my grandmother. I highly recommend this place. I am blow away by this facility and the staff on a regular basis.

Do you believe in Angel's? They exist at the Lodge at Manito. My father was there from Nov 2024 until his passing June 2025. Every single staff member that he came in contact treated him with the utmost in caring, compassion, and respect. The staff treated him as if he was a relative of theirs. They laughed with him and cried with him. Every day they had a smile on their face and made him feel so comfortable. All other services he experienced were top notch. My only complaint? Quit hiring all the Angel's as your staff, there won't be any left when I get to heaven. Thanks for everything!

I cannot say enough good things about The Lodge. The staff is amazing. The food is excellent. The communication from the director all the way to the aides has been fantastic. Activities are varied and always so fun! So much love and compassion.

My mother has been a resident of the Lodge for the past 10 months and our family could not be more pleased with the staff. They have gone over and above in facilitating her needs even upon request. The transition to the Lodge was a pleasure for our mother and she feels at home. Everyone that visits her give us rave reviews on how clean the Lodge is and the homey atmosphere. The Lodge at Manito is a must for anyone wanting their elder parent to live in a safe, clean, and warm place.

The staff, from the top down, are incredible. It’s not easy making the adjustment to assisted living after years of independence. The patience, care, and genuine concern shown from all the workers has been extraordinary in our experience. “Shout outs” are hard to do here, because literally EVERYONE has been top notch. From Melissa, Robbie, Brandi with their nursing skills (ALL absolutely awesome) to Sue who helps in serving meals to Sandy and Shellie who Megan in the office (and beyond) who have been exceedingly helpful, and we could go on and on and on. A facility can have great food, cleanliness, activities, amenities, but if they don’t have people who genuinely want to be there and who care about the residents, it all falls through the cracks. The employees at the Lodge are what has made the greatest impression on our family.
