I have been here 3 years now and I absolutely love this place

Great communication with the staff and the remodeling of the facility and apartments, although an ongoing process, is probably one of the biggest highlights of the building that's one of the largest symbols of the downtown Rockford skyline. The riverfront landscaping is maintained consistently, the exercise room is clean is newer with some top-of-the-line equipment that even a physical therapist was impressed by. There is in-house food service, on-site nursing staff, laundry, and many more services that are too many to keep going. They also have a weekly pest control inspection for anyone that may be concerned about older reviews. Nothing in life is perfect and neither is this place, but I couldn't be happier and I put that on the great management team that does their best every single day.

I personally live here and love it ! The downtown Rockford Illinois location is wonderful. I am only a couple of blocks away from mainstream live entertainment events. The BMO center is only 2 blocks away. The Coronado is just as close. Fine dining surrounds the Luther Center in every direction. The Luther Center grounds and building are meticulously maintained.

In 2018, I applied to Luther Center but not sure and alone I was all but ready to move. To go on bus to Rockford for 3pm appt is ok but tiring for me. And cab? Now I know I must move but reviews show bugs and no one to accept rent each month? Maybe mail it in is best? Post office, bank and small store for milk all in 2-3 blocks to walk? Transportation bus? Help I am senior alone?

Moved in in June 2014 with my seven year old dog named Rex. I love living at Luther Center the Rock River is Beautiful especially in the spring and summer
