As a Social Worker visiting patients, this is one of the best senior living facilities I visit frequently. Staff & leadership are always helpful, courteous and able to assist when needed. It feels great knowing my patients are being taken care of. Thank you all at Waterford of Decatur for all that you do for the residents. I appreciate you!

It was a pleasure touring The Waterford at Decatur with Kamilla, Director of Sales. The facility is beautifully designed and well-maintained, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is not only professional but also caring, attentive and genuinely passionate about the well-being of the residents. I met a few of the staff, including Lakeshia, Director of Nursing. The staff greets every resident with a smile, kindness and respect. The personal touch is evident in every interaction, and it's clear that the staff prioritizes both the physical and emotional comfort of their residents.

I had the pleasure of visiting The Waterford at Decatur to explore care options for my grandmother, and I am beyond impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. Camilla, the person who assisted me, was absolutely wonderful. She was not only incredibly informative but also showed a deep understanding of my grandmother's needs and concerns. Camilla took the time to explain how the care is implemented at The Waterford, detailing all the services available to residents and ensuring that I understood how they would be tailored to my grandmother’s specific requirements. Her compassion and professionalism were clear, and it gave me a great sense of confidence that my grandmother would be in excellent hands. The entire staff at The Waterford at Decatur was welcoming and attentive, creating a sense of community that was very reassuring. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the well-being of their residents, and they work hard to make everyone feel valued and comfortable. I left feeling truly informed and at peace with the decision-making process. The Waterford at Decatur offers not just a place to live but a place where your loved one can receive the care, respect, and attention they deserve. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a retirement or assisted living community that genuinely understands the needs of its residents. Thank you to Camilla and the entire team for making this experience so positive!

My mother has been at the Waterford, previously Madeline, for over 4 years. She has dementia and was struggling before she came to the Waterford. The staff is well trained from what I see, and mom is thriving. For a mid cost facility, it is excellent. I toured several others prior to choosing the Madeline and I am pleased with mom's success and demeanor. The new management as of 9 2024 seem very motivated in maintaining and improving the performance of the facility. Communication has increased and i hope to see even more exciting growth!
