My husband is the resident there. He is completely happy with everyone he has met and is caring for him.

I would never recommend this place. Pulled my grandmother from this awful facility. Rats in the residents rooms, residents being neglected, inadequate staffing leading residents to not receiving proper care. My family was visiting my grandmother every day but I feel so bad for the ones who don’t have family members bc they are even more neglected. The cnas hate to be asked to help or do their job and will actually get an attitude with you for asking. It takes a special kind of heart to do this kind of work, and most of those cnas lack that heart! Patients being left hollering for help for hours. The administrator is the most unprofessional and uncaring man I’ve ever met as well. All he is worried about is keeping the cnas he has whether they are being reported or not. Injuries not being properly reported and taken care of. Food is cold every time it’s served. Do your loved one a favor and take them to Sunrise instead of here. Everyone there is SO FULL OF LOVE.

Pop was transferred to Magnolia Manor when released from the hospital after a stroke. When we got settled into the room, I noticed BLOOD on the wall. I pointed it out to each staff member that came in, as well as dried POOP on the floor and a broken/missing outlet cover. The blood was wiped off the wall by the next morning, but i'm sure it wasn't handled properly. Like moving the patient to a NEW ROOM! Even after I suggested they do so. The floor was SO STICKY. We visited several times each day and the floor was worse each time. Finally on the 3rd day, I couldn't even lift my foot from the floor without great effort. Maintenance was called, they removed all of the furniture, and displaced pop. Didn't even give him a place to rest until his room was ready. That took 4-5 hours. Totally unacceptable. They kicked him out of the facility because they didn't keep an eye on him. He walked out the front door and someone else caught up with him down the highway. He didn't understand why he couldn't go home. That's what happens when you have a stroke! I also witnessed staff ignore other patients and the call buzzers. An RN told me it wasn't all the same patient. I told her yes, it was, I can see the room number on the ceiling, flashing for 15-20 minutes. I also watched as they refused to help a women in a wheelchair get into the bathroom. Would not help hold the door open for her to get in, he bandaged feet were seeping green and brown stuff. Disgusting. If you value your family or friends, stay away from this facility.

We took my father in law for rehab after a stroke and 19 days in the hospital. Staff was good, food was fabulous and rehab staff was excellent. We only stayed 4 days due to my father in law not wanting to be there but we can not say anything bad about the facility or staff. Great place to take your loved ones if you need a rehab center.

Love living at my new home. Staff and residents in independent living are friendly and helpful. Pretty lawns and beautiful apartments. Great place for anyone needing close neighbors and help if they need it.
