My wife and I were very happy with our experience visiting Magnolia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We decided to surprise my sister to try and accurately gauge her feelings about being there. She seemed not only happy to see us, but she was sitting and chatting with four friends, who all seemed supportive of one another. Though she was having trouble remembering some recent events in her life (which was corroborated by the doctor's report), she really seemed pretty happy and content overall. I think this is the ideal place for her to be living now and likely in the foreseeable future. Our thanks to all the staff for making this possible and for keeping my sister safe, healthy and comfortable.

The staff at Magnolia Senior Living are very kind and very professional. It is because of those two attributes and more that I know that I've made the right decision in placing my mother in their memory care facility. The environment is very family oriented and love filled. They are great with communicating with me I matters concerning my mother. I'm so thankful that I chose this place over my other options.

My 90 year old Father has been at Magnolia since the end of March. The staff is very friendly and supportive. They keep the building and grounds clean. If you are looking for a place for a loved one I highly recommend Magnolia Senior Living.

My mom was here for 4 months before voluntarily moving out. Magnolia is a beautiful facility that is severely understaffed and poorly managed. On weekends, It was typical that there was only 1 aide on duty for the 40 assisted living residents. No management would be present on weekends. Staffing shortages also occurred during the week. Mom missed showers, meds and having her room cleaned at times due to the staffing shortages. These are all services that you pay for in the monthly fee however we were never compensated when they didn't provide these services. One reason we chose Magnolia was because they claimed to check on their residents every 2 hours. This is not the case. If residents want to go outside, it's not very accessible. They must enter a code and push the doors open, all while trying to maneuver a walker or wheelchair. The TV in the main room always had the news on. Not sure why they didn't turn programs on that this generation would enjoy watching, such as game shows or sporting events. They had activities, however you rarely saw more than a handful of residents participate. Overall the food was less than adequate. If you're considering this facility, I would suggest you visit on multiple occasions during different times instead of making your decision based on the sales pitch.

Thought it was a nice place at first. My father was in memory care. I had to spend a few nights with my father and got a real good look at how things are run. Night shift CNAs asleep on the job, we were told that residents are checked on every 2 hours at night but they were not (we had cameras in my Dad's room), multiple residents left in common room for long stretches of time with no one watching them, violent TV show is constantly playing (dementia patients should not be watching this), and residents going into other resident's rooms. My sisters and I had to walk other patients back from our father's room to the CNAs multiple times and it wasn't even noticed that the resident had wandered away. We were preparing to move our father after only 4 months to another facility when he unexpectedly passed away. I suggest you actually spend the night and a full day with your loved one to get a real feel of the place. I would not recommend this facility at all.
