My mother-in-law, Inez, lived here for two years. She suffered with dementia. My husband visited almost daily and every day witnessed the incredible care, attention and affection everyone there offered his mother, beginning with the owner and all the caretakers. We had cared for his mother in our home for three years previous to this, so we know how difficult it is and how much is involved! I really can't say enough about how well-run, clean, organized and welcoming this home is. It feels like a family home, and we had peace of mind knowing my MiL was as cared for and safe as if she was in her own home--better, even, as my husband often said! Marisol, the owner, is very hands-on and communicative. She really knows and cares about everyone in her care and notes their personal preferences. Birthdays and special ocasions are celebrated with personal touches. The caretakers have always been top-notch and the food was always fresh and delicious! I have to give a special shout-out to Indira, who was there the entire time Inez was, as being especially affectionate and fun. I saw how Inez's face would light up when she saw her. Inez has now passed, and we will always think of Marcia Adult Care with gratitude and affection for making her last years so comfortable and companionable.
