I cannot say enough about Marian Village's Assisted Living and Ancora Memory Care. Moving our precious mom here was one of the best and most meaningful decisions my sisters and I have ever made. This beautiful new memory care facility (Ancora) is more than just a place — it’s a community filled with love, compassion, and genuine concern. From the very first day, every person we’ve met has treated our mom with kindness, dignity, and respect. The atmosphere is calm, joyful, and full of purpose. You can feel the difference the moment you walk in — the warmth, the smiles, the sense that everyone here truly cares. Having had experience with another well-known facility in the past, I can say with 100% confidence that Ancora is in a completely different league. The quality of care, the communication, the respect shown to each resident are exceptional in every way. This is what memory care should look like. They have set the gold standard! A heartfelt thank-you to Kim Bojanowski, Manager of Ancora Memory Care, whose compassion, leadership, and dedication to excellence shine every single day. Kim goes above and beyond to make sure every resident is understood, loved, and valued. The amazing team under her – including the nurses and CNAs reflect that same spirit of caring and dedication. They are gentle, patient, and attentive. The Activities Ancora manager, Katie, is also excellent. Katie tailors activities to meet the needs of the residents. And a special thank-you to Ailish Doherty, Director of Sales and Marketing, whose kindness, professionalism, and patience made this entire transition seamless for our family. Additionally, grateful to Anu Jose and Cari Sayfongkhan and many others along the way! Ancora’s faith-based mission is evident in every act of care, every gentle touch, and every word of encouragement. Our family feels at peace knowing that our mom is surrounded by people who see her for who she is — not just as a resident, but as a beloved person. If you are searching for a place that offers not only quality care but also genuine love, dignity, and grace — look no further than Marion Village’s Assisted Living or Ancora Memory Care. They have truly restored our faith in what senior living can be.

18 years ago my mom passed away—But she lived at Marian Village. She was one of the first residents. But since then some rules changed and there was remolding done. So I set up an appointment with MaryBeth O’Connor upond arrival MaryBeth introduced her self my Daughter showed up a few minutes later and I introduced her to MaryBeth . We talked about the changes and the remodeling and was going on the new wing. We went on a tour of the one bedroom and the two bedroom and the studio.MaryBeth was very informative we felt very comfortable she explained everything nothing was like a sales pitch MaryBeth treated us as a resident explained everything question that we wanted to know about the whole experience was very relaxing and very enjoyable. You have a person that knows their job and how to relax and talk to people to make their experience very comfortable. Thank you.

I give this 3 stars for a couple of reasons, one I like sitting down with my relatives and eating the food there. Also they have a beautiful and awesome church. There are some very nice people who love to talk to you. But one time I was inside and it didn’t smell good, It was like newborn baby and Key West. I couldn’t stand it so I took the stairs, which didn’t really help. It’s a nice place though, there are always happy faces in different places, greeting you with a “hello there” or “how’s your day”. What I’m trying to get at is that Marian village is like a carton of eggs, you kind of know what you’re gonna get. If you leave it on the counter it will be moldy and smell rotten like Key West. If you leave an egg the fridge there might be some chicks eventually. If you give em a good whisk you will get a pleasant surprise. What I’m trying to get at is that if you like a cracked egg, rotten eggs and scrambled eggs then Marian Village is the place for you. One last thing though, my dad thinks the diet coke cans are too small, don’t know if I can help, just trying to spread awareness. ❤️❤️❤️

Our mother recently made the difficult decision to move from family homes to a senior residence. We appreciate the sensitivity ,kindness, and respect we received from MaryBeth. She has gone above and beyond to answer questions and host a lovely visit for our family. All the staff we have encountered have been so friendly. Mom is looking forward to her new HOME!

Our Mother has lived at Marian Village for one year now and loves it! The premises and grounds are impeccably beautiful. Director Ailish Dougherty and her staff are friendly, kind, and honest. During our interview of MV, everything Ailish said was true! The food and service is restaurant-excellent, the overall cleanliness is on par with four star hotels, the church services are beautiful and he entire staff couldn't be nicer. It's so nice here that my Aunt, my Mom's sister, has left her Chicago Retirement Home and joined Marian Village last month - and loves it here! Thank you Marian Village & Ailish! - Vince
