There are no words that can describe how grateful I am for this amazing oasis of a community. My Aunt, LuAnn, needed a home and she was coming from Arkansas. My wife and I had to move her close to us here in Nashville so that she could be close to family. My mother used to take care of her and unfortunately she passed away two years ago. Every single person I have encountered on the staff at Aviva are amazing. Michelle is the sweetest person in the whole world and has been so helpful for me since our first day there. Spencer helped my aunt on the admissions side and he is incredible. Alyssa is the Nursing Director and is always willing to help as we have had to navigate a lot of different meds. Debora is FANTASTIC. She always lights up my day when I see her there. Clay does Karaoke every other Friday night and helps my aunt get where she needs all the time. We have had several road bumps with my aunt since she moved in about 6 months ago. And Aviva has been so supportive to help me through each one. That alone has been amazing. Everyone there is like family and I am so grateful my aunt has a place there she can call home. I am beyond grateful for everyone there and that it is close to me here in Nashville. THANK YOU AVIVA!!!

We had to get our dad moved in urgently on a Sunday, within only a week of touring for the first time. Spencer was amazing and worked with us even on his day off to make sure we got everything we needed so he could get moved in that day. My dad now has a great one-bedroom apartment for a much better price than we'd been paying for a tiny studio at another facility. We've also been in close contact with Alyssa, the nursing director, to make sure our dad has everything he needs. We're so glad we chose Aviva Maybelle Carter!

The staff at Aviva Maybelle Carter are extremely kind and helpful, and the residents are friendly and welcoming. The park-like surroundings are beautiful, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for assisted living for a loved one.

Finding an appropriate place for our family member was stressful, overwhelming and, at times, felt completely hopeless. This was made worse by the fact that the need for more supportive living arrangements came about suddenly, and we were in a RUSH. We looked at SO MANY facilities that were either absolutely terrible (unclean, smelled of urine, tiny rooms with two adults each in twin bed sharing a toilet with two other adults and a shared hallway shower they could only use 3x a week. Some of these places really just seemed like they were warehousing seniors to cash a check) or were priced completely out of her budget - worse yet, some of the places we looked were both terrible AND too expensive. I swear, I called AVIVA Maybelle Carter as a last-ditch effort. I had no other options, and I can't even remember where I found out about them in my extensive internet searches. Spencer made time for me the same day I called (on a Monday). I almost cried when I first walked in. It was beautiful (appears to be newly remodeled). Staff were all around, very available, no one seemed rushed or stressed, everyone was kind and gracious. Even the housekeeper in the elevator told me that all of the folks' apartments she cared for were like her family. The residents I saw were at ease, happy, clean and socializing. I was wary of a "semi-private room" option after seeing what that meant at other places (ie NO privacy), but the semi-private room at Maybelle Carter allows my family member her own space - a sitting room, bedroom, bathroom, two big windows with a great view and a walk-in closet. Only a hallway and large accessible shower are shared with one other resident. They have a beautiful library and dining room, lots of activities posted and pretty extensive grounds with shuffleboard, a putting green and trails. After my BIG exhale on a Monday (at which time, the room still needed some minor repairs, paint and cleaning from the prior resident), Spencer was able to schedule her assessment on Tuesday and get her room move in ready by Thursday. They really seemed to jump through hoops to accommodate our situation and make our family member as comfortable as possible. She has just moved in, so our journey here is just beginning, but I have been so impressed by the service and value we have received so far.

Spencer was our sales contact and he created a great experience for my mom. He was so patient with her that it put her at ease for her transition to assisted living. Michelle, the GM, runs a great facility and her staff is amazing. I am team Sky. She made the financial side super easy and was transparent throughout. Also, Michelle collects unique pens if you want to leave one behind.
