MCCRITE PLAZA AT BRIARCLIFF ASSISTED LIVING

On 03/04/2026 my 79 year old mom and I toured McCrite with Alayne. I was immediately very impressed with McCrite as soon as I entered and was warmly greeted. Alayne was wonderful about explaining everything. She was easy to talk to and she answered all of our questions. We have toured about 10 different independent senior living places. McCrite was our top choice. We met the family owners during our tour, they were amazing people. When we left and discussed it we both decided on McCrite. The kindness and attention to our needs from Alayne, the staff, the building, and meeting the family owners made it an absolute easy choice. She signed the agreement on the next day.

Alayne, thank you so much for the last minute tour of your beautiful community at McCrite. I especially appreciate your wealth of knowledge on the condition we are facing with our family member. Your kindness, generosity and willingness to listen/advise us helped so much. We will keep you posted as we progress with this decision. You are a great representative of your vast property, program, and community!

My dad is currently here. He has 4 family members faithfully advocating for him. If not, he wouldn’t have his needs met. He pays a Big Fee$ to be here!! Meals are always short of at least 2 items. They didn’t deliver his dinner tonight. There’s More!! Can’t wait to have our “Care Team Meeting “!!! There are things Journal. Not happy!! Our dad & all here deserves top notch nursing care in Hospice!!! Top notch in All care types!!!

Alayne was very compassionate as we started our transition of independent living to assisted living for my mother. She guided us through the process, encouraging us to find the best community that will meet our needs. This was so very much appreciated. The Mccrite community and staff were all welcoming, friendly and the facility itself is attractive and full of amenities. I would highly recommend visiting their community on your search for an assisted living arrangement. Thanks so very much Alayne!

Was not impressed at all. The building was very nice but the feel was not a pleasant experience. Seemed the primary focus was money, not the people. Seemed very money oriented and i get it’s a business and businesses need to be a business. But not to a point that the patient falls second. Supporting a friend looking for her dad and just was not trilled. Would rather pay their higher prices and see more personal affection. Staff were friendly but not all seemed happy about where they worked.
