Melrose Meadows Retirement Community

My mother moved to Melrose Meadows 6 years ago when she was 92. She had tried another retirement community when she was 90 but disliked it so much she moved back to a regular apartment after the first year. Then she started checking out other places and liked Melrose Meadows and got on the waiting list. She was so excited when she got the call that an independent unit had become available! They totally redid the kitchen for her before she moved in. She really enjoyed it, took advantage of the pool and other activities. My siblings and I occasionally dined with her and the food was always very good. After 3 years she moved over to the assisted living side and the staff made that move very easy. Unfortunately she recently had to transition to a long term nursing facility, but our family is so grateful for the years she spent at Melrose Meadows, it was always so bright and cheerful, clean, safe and well maintained. Thank you to all the friendly and helpful staff that we interacted with over the years. It was just the right place for her at just the right time.

Richard and I have been at "Melrose" for five years now. I'm positive that the reason this place functions so well for residents' happiness and comfort is: the staff! They're not just competent, they're thoughtful "people people". On second thought, what equally makes us happy here is: the other residents. I've never met so many fascinating people, and every one unique. It's just like society then, but here we get to have lots of interactions (or less if we want), eating together, playing cards or watching a movie, singing or listening. We're about to go down to Sunday dinner and will have lots of choices there. Looking forward to the next new resident!

My Mom just moved into Melrose Meadows after 5 years of retirement community shopping. The entire staff and residents have made her feel welcomed the minute she walked through the doors. The move-in was a breeze. Her unit was spotless, along with the entire facility. She is busy everyday with many activities to choose from. The meals are wonderful, lots of variety each day. We made the right choice at MM.

Over the past two years my wife Barb and I have come to know well the Melrose Meadows Retirement Community because Barb’s mother and father were residents there. Wanting only the very best for her parents we couldn’t have been happier with the beautiful facility, all the staff, and the loving care they provided. The staff was competent and professional, compassionate and caring, always going over and above what we expected. They treated the residents like their own family. I have worked in healthcare my entire career and can honestly say I have never worked with a finer group of professionals. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

Walking into Melrose Meadow you can feel the sense of home and community. The staff is all very friendly and caring, the building, grounds and apartments are beautiful, and there is always something going on. But the best review of all comes from the residents. Everyone that I've talked with loves it there. The community is so impressive, that my mother would like to move there from her home in Boise, Idaho. If you knew her, you would know that's a pretty good endorsement. I highly recommend you check it out.
