50 Shades Of Tiff

Jan 2025

The receptionist either chooses to be or was told to be pretty invasive to ask what a phone call is about, but the pastor is pretty rude himself asking me in sarcasm if I had already spoke to him the week before. With the city of Cordell, already being in a winter storm warning indicating that this is going to be a heavy snowstorm with Arctic air flowing from the north, he heartlessly and sarcastically tells me that they are having a warming shelter for people who need help, but will not accept pets. Well, we are not abandoning our pets. And he happily tells me in sharp sarcasm, “And that’s as far as it will go.” Wow, I guess that is supposed to be stupid enough to believe that that’ is Jesus Christ all the way.

This church building is beautiful, but the people are why I felt so welcome on my visit to Cordele First UMC. Whether you're just visiting or you're looking for a new church, this is a welcoming and Biblical place.

That's a great church to go to. A lot of friendly folks. And you can feel God in the place. You know that I love him.

Some very good folks and isn't discriminative when it comes to helping people out. Regardless of race they share Gods grace. Not a majority of churches does that. Their temple is beautiful & historical.
