Couldn't ask for a better group of loving individuals to care for your loved one. Best there is!

Moravian King's Daughters Home was recommended to me by a friend whose mom had live there. Both my mom and I were so happy to find a place where mom could live like she was part of the family. Mom lived there for the last 3+ years of her life. During that time she progressed from early dementia to the end stages. She received excellent medical care, personal care with activities of daily living, good home cooking served family style, while enjoying fun activities and making new friends. Mom spent her last months on hospice, and the visiting hospice team repeatedly told me that Moravian King's offered the best personal care of all the facilities they visited. I have to agree, I could not have asked for a better place for my mom to write the last chapter of her life.

This place is a non profit organization, no HR available so they can basically do whatever they want and treat their employees with disrespect. An employee I know has not even been at this home for 1 month and has dealt with disrespect from their own co-workers ALL BECAUSE they have done nothing BUT follow the simple instructions!? WHY is it that employees are sneaking into quiet dark rooms during their shifts? Laughing on their phone while working? & STEALING people’s belongings? I don’t understand why employees are doing things they are not supposed to do when the supervisors are not around? Ever realized why some of the residents are dreading living there? because NOBODY is creating bonds with them, seems like everyone is there simply because of the paycheck. If only the residents families knew what really goes on. Unprofessional!

Staff is very helpful, place is really clean, they work closely with the families, they pray before meals. The place looks like you're walking into grandmas house with the figurines, and the furniture
