MORNING POINTE AT HAPPY VALLEY

Our experience with Morning Pointe at Happy Valley was disappointing and concerning. My parents were placed in memory care even though my father was fully independent and able to assist in caring for my mother, who has Alzheimer’s. It’s important to note that my mother has absolutely no elopement issues. The distinction between assisted living and memory care is important, and in this case, the facility later acknowledged that memory care was not appropriate and agreed to move them to assisted living. However, after my mother was hospitalized following a fall, the assisted living apartment that had been promised to them was given to another resident without any communication with our family. My parents never returned to the facility after that. Unfortunately, this experience reflected a pattern of poor judgment and inadequate communication. Families should carefully evaluate placement practices and ask many questions before choosing to put their loved ones here.

As soon as you walk in the doors at Morning Pointe at Happy Valley, you immediately feel such warmth, joy, and compassion. Every staff member who I have come in contact with exudes a positive and helpful attitude and shows genuine care and concern for their residents and fellow staff members. In my business, we work with many senior living communities, and this one is truly one of the best!

This is without a doubt, the BEST assisted living facility in the Chattanooga area. The staff is phenomenal, attentive, incredibly kind and caring. They take their time to get to know each resident and their families. From the moment you walk through the front door, you are greeted with a smile and you immediately feel welcomed and at ease. They are active with the community and always have such nice programs and activities for the residents and family as well. I will always recommend MPHV to anyone looking for assisted living care.

This facility is just like HOME! When my Mother’s ready to move into a care home facility, this is exactly where she will come home to. The welcoming atmosphere, the wonderful meals, the activities, the caring staff and companionship she will have there, will help ease the family as she transitions. I think Happy Valley would be a place I would want to live when my time comes!
