Morning Pointe of Brentwood

I had the best time at Morning Pointe yesterday during their Hootenanny event. I have never seen so many residents/family members etc..... participating in an event like this. I bet every resident was out of their room enjoying every moment. They were so alive and happy and smiling and laughing. The food was phenomenal as well! I can't wait until the next event happens!

I attended the Hootenanny at Brentwood Morning Pointe. This event is held in conjunction with the National Assisted Living week. It is the 12th year they have held this event. Residents & their families attend. The residents helped prepare for this event by doing themed artwork. Everyone was encouraged to wear western attire. JBD Express provided great country music for the 4th year which everyone enjoyed immensely. The kitchen staff served a delicious buffet dinner of ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork, beans, potato salad, coleslaw, cornbread & homemade desserts.

Went to visit today and it was obvious that the staff cares so well for the residents. The residents also appear so content. The facility is top notch too. Great experience.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Morning Pointe of Brentwood. My 92 year old Mom has thrived physically, mentally, and emotionally during the last eleven months in which she has lived there. It is fully staffed with exceptional nurses and caretakers who truly love the residents. The activity director is outstanding and keeps the residents motivated, involved, and entertained. The food is delicious, and the newly-decorated facility is beautiful. The communication and involvement with families is excellent. Our total experience with Morning Pointe of Brentwood has been outstanding.

Many of the staff who work at Morning Pointe became wonderful friends to my mom and to me in the 2 1/2 years our mom lived there. Because Morning Pointe is a smaller facility, my mom knew everyone and everyone knew her. The staff know all the residents by name and they encourage each to participate in their favorite activities. As mom aged, they would be sure to remind her of the day and time so she wouldn’t miss Bingo. She was grateful when they brought her bowl of fruit (only melon please) and her drink (Arnold Palmer) as soon as she sat down at meals. She appreciated that she didn’t even have to ask, they knew what she liked. There were a few things that she wanted done in very specific ways, and the nurses at Morning Pointe were patient and kind in meeting her needs. I was at Morning Pointe often in the past few years and always found the staff to be warm, helpful, and willing to listen if there were ways my mom’s care needed to be adjusted. I highly recommend Morning Pointe as an option for Assisted Living or Memory Care.
