Morning Star Assisted Living & Memory Care Rio Rancho

Having trouble getting a deposit refund for a person that never moved in. I started the process on October 29th, 2025 and followed up with 3 phone calls asking for the refund. All I get are delays. Still waiting on December 18th, 2025. Very disappointed! Sent an email today 12/19/25. Let's see if this garners any result! Funny you can't post without picking at least one star.

Our experience with the care and compassion of the staff at Morning Star has been impressive. I especially want to commend Denise, Leslie, Lily, Joshua, Brie, Areceli, Alicia and Danielle. They have always been so kind and have exceeded expectations. I want to thank everyone at Morning Star. The food is very good, so I also commend the chefs. I know that this experience is also a reflection on management, good people stay when management creates a culture that supports them. Thanks to Trish, Rusty and Tyler!

Morning Star Rio Rancho is an absolutely beautiful facility with such lovely, caring and very competent employees and care givers. The food is top notch and the flexibility of the menu and restaurant is second to none - restaurant style open 6am-6pm. I highly recommend Morning Star Rio Rancho for your loved ones!

My dad was in there azheimer unit . Everything looks great when you go there beautiful layout. Beware of staffing issues big turnover not enough staff to patient care. He didn't receive enough showers or even help with personal hygiene. Just got him out of bed put in wheelchair and out in big room. Lack of adequate fluids ( did not offer him water) Reported to state health services. He actually fell when they tried to give him shower that messed him up could not walk again and died soon after. There were some good staff but most of them were not properly trained . I hope the state did something otherwise it will happen again.

MorningStar Rio Rancho is one of the most beautiful senior living facilities I've ever seen! With wonderful amenities that ensure an excellent quality of life, I can see why seniors are choosing MorningStar to be their place of residency. Shannon Barker and her staff are some of the most kindest and compassionate folks I've ever met. When looking for a place for your loved one, you definitely need to check out MorningStar Rio Rancho!
