I moved in here a couple of months ago and have found Morningside a wonderful place to live. It is small so you can meet people fairly fast, there is always activities seven days a week and the food is varied and very good.

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER ALMOST 2 YEARS AT MH: This is a wonderful community with caring, attentive staff. All staff members - nurses, aides, activities staff, PT/OT/Speech, kitchen, custodial, front desk, etc - are approachable, care deeply about the residents and their well-being, and are welcoming to families and guests. We're so happy that Mom chose this place, and we've highly recommended it to other families we know who are looking for care in the area. I'd mention exceptional staff members by name, but that would pretty much include every single employee! The other residents are great too; it's a nice community of interesting people. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Community/activities: My mom recently moved in and is really happy with the community here. The staff are very welcoming and take a genuine interest in the residents, and the residents seem happy (some even told us they left other communities to come here and are glad they did). There are a lot of activities to choose from, and the activities team is top-notch. The staff have also been very welcoming and friendly towards our extended family - and other families we've seen there - and the place already feels like "Mom's place" to us. Meals: Mom likes the food, and I've had maybe 7 or 8 (?) meals here so far, and the food was great every time. And the servers are polite and patient with their elderly diners. Logistics, etc: The move-in process was much easier than what we were facing elsewhere, and things moved very quickly, which is what we needed. Audrey really worked with us to make sure we knew exactly what we needed to do when (and helped us prioritize said tasks so things could move smoothly). Overall, we've found all staff to be approachable and easy to work with. So happy Mom is here.

We moved our loved one out after Morningside bought it. We liked the staff - most of them were very caring and responsible. Pam at the front desk was excellent! So, was Angela the nurse. Made it a pleasure for us to walk in the door. The food, however, was not so good so I'm not sure where the postive remarks are coming from. It was not a positive experience after Morningside bought it. The price increased dramatically and simply was not worth it for the room or level of care.

When it was decided that my mom needed an assisted living facility my brother and I started looking for one and after visiting several of them our last stop was Morningside House in Collegeville. Unbeknownst to us we saved the best for last! Even though we liked a few of the facilities we visited up until then we had one more stop at Morningside House. We loved the place as soon as we walked in the door. We met with Audrey the director of sales and marketing. Audrey was great and gave us the tour. The place is beautiful inside and cleanliness showed everywhere. The dining room was open and spacious and the food was delicious as we ate there many times with her. Her room was spacious yet cozy too. After mom moved in we met most of the staff and we can’t say enough good about them all including Valerie, Jesse, Kevin and of course Mary one of her nurses. The activities they had for the residents was outstanding. Best of all our mom really loved it there and made many new friends.

My mom and our family had a wonderful experience at Morningside even tho unfortunately it was short. She needed 2 stays in rehab while she was there and the administrators would come to visit her often, bringing flowers and gifts. All the staff was wonderful and welcoming and my mom throughly enjoyed the food. Her apt was big and beautiful and there was lots of activities as well as music and happy hour! The facility is gorgeous and we liked the care involved with a nurse on duty. Definitely would recommend.
