My Aunt has been a resident since October 2019 but had to leave recently for intensive care at another facility. During her time at Morningside, she went through the construction updates to the building, a flu quarantine and Covid-19 epidemic. The staff always made an effort to be friendly, helpful and available whenever possible. Management kept her and her family informed of the changing government restrictions during the epidemic and made every effort to keep the residents safe. Hopefully the dining room will be open soon for everyone to enjoy again. The food was good, recreational programs were in place and other amenities were available (hair salon, crafts, etc.). For the money, Morningside is very reasonable compared to other places in the area.

My mother lived at Morningside of Belmont, Nashville for nearly 4 years until moving to a memory care facility. She loved her home, her neighbors, and all the staff. As her memory failed, they were so patient and caring with her. I often had to call Morningside for assistance as I managed my mother's affairs from another state. The front desk and nursing staff were always, cheery, friendly, and eager to assist, and they ALWAYS followed through. All of the staff at Morningside seem happy to be working there and you can definitely tell by the way they treat the residents. The food is varied, healthy and delicious, and the cafe staff warm and loving. I appreciate each and every staff member and wish I could find a way to thank them all! Morningside's actual location couldn't be any better, within walking distance of a grocery and some nice restaurants, Belmont and Vanderbilt Universities, and right across the parking lot from Belmont Mansion. While I was visiting we often enjoyed strolling in the beautiful gardens there. I highly recommend Morningside of Belmont to anyone who is considering a place for their parent.

I have been so impressed with Morningside of Belmont. The facility is well kept and very inviting. There is a definite feeling of a home in a small community with gracious living and accommodating staff and professionals. The residents appear well cared for and happy. There is a peaceful, even joyful feeling when you enter the lobby. I did not think such a place existed. My mother’s entry here had a difficult start from her previous location. At Morningside of Belmont we were treated with dignity and respect and genuine compassion. From our initial experience with Gennica Greenlee, a lovely, caring and very knowledgeable young woman to finalization of our paperwork by John Marshall, a consummate professional, who went the extra mile to make a very hard transition smooth, I felt welcomed and appreciated as part of their special community. When my time to make this move happens, I can only hope this opportunity is available for me. Morningside of Belmont, I thank you.

We recently moved our mother into Morningside, and it could not have gone more smoothly. The entire staff was so helpful and friendly. It seemed like they all knew our mother's name within the first day! She needs level one care right now and is responding very well. We are hopeful that as she gains strength and adjusts she will be able to drop down to just assistance with her meds. I appreciate the fluid nature of care at Morningside and the ability to have our mother's needs met in one facility. This is our first experience with assisted living and I am very impressed! Thanks Amber and everyone there for making our mom feel so welcome.

I'm not sure what facility Elizabeth is writing about, but it's certainly not the Morningside of Belmont with which I am familiar. My 98 year old mom has been a resident for over 18 months, and I could not be happier with the services she receives. The caregivers are courteous, the dining room food and servers are first class, and the cleanliness of the common areas as well as mom's apartment could not be better. The value received for the monthly rent is as good as it gets, and I continue to recommend the facility to anyone with a loved one in need of assisted living.
