LAKES AT GAINESVILLE ASSISTED LIVING

Such a lovely place staff are so amazing the food is so good the kitchen staff was so amazing I would recommend this place to others thank you for such a lovely place she's such awesome food

As one of the residents of the Lakes told me recently, “if you need to be in a place like this, the Lakes is the best place to be. I love it here,” he said. I agree with him as my mother was a resident of the Lakes, but i sadly had to move her to a sister facility with memory care due to her advanced dementia. Carly Applewhite is the executive director of the Lakes and she is absolutely the best! She is kind, compassionate, professional and extremely competent in her job. If I’ve ever had a question or request she’s on top of it immediately. There’s such a level of respect between Carly and her staff that radiates throughout the facility. The building is clean, well maintained and so filled with sunlight and happiness. The caregivers bond with the residents and it’s really just a unique environment. There’s always a special occasion/social happening that’s complete with decorations, theme type menu, and activities. If it’s time for your loved one to transition into assisted living, you will be so at peace with the Lakes and Carly.

Lakes at Gainesville is a beautiful facility with a homey feel. The new executive director, Carly, has definitely made many improvements to the facility including the atmosphere in the facility! The building is clean and organized. The staff are friendly and approachable! Their new sales director is very kind and helpful! Would recommend for my loved ones!

What truly sets it apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, compassionate, and outgoing. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable and engaged. Whether it’s helping with day-to-day needs or just sharing a smile and conversation, their kindness never goes unnoticed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a safe, caring, and uplifting environment for their loved ones.
