Charter of Godfrey took care of my grandma for the last few years of her life and I can honestly say that they made her last few years a time where she was cared for and loved beyond measure. They made sure the process went smoothly from the tour, to the assessment and the stressful Move In Day... They took care of her as they would their own family and I am forever grateful for them. The staff is more of a family than just a team of employees. They go above and beyond to make sure the residents as well as WE, the family, are comfortable and taken care of. From Jonna, the ED, to the rest of the management team (Ro, Taylor, Regina, Dan, Kea and some others I'm sure!! ) down to the staff on the front lines (Holly, Russ, Bobbie, Arien, and so many more!!!) everyone goes above and beyond every day. Our family is extremely grateful for Charter Senior Living of Godfrey. My brother-in-law is very comfortable living here and truly enjoys the activities and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and clearly dedicated to the residents’ well-being. We would especially like to thank Jonna, the Executive Director, Kim, the Director of Sales, and Mr. Julian, the Environmental Services Director, for their leadership, kindness, and for going above and beyond when it truly mattered. We have great love and respect for the entire staff and the wonderful care they provide. Highly recommended.

When my dad first moved into this facility, he was resistant and difficult to please. The staff never gave up on him — they met his frustrations with patience, compassion, and respect. Over time, he began to open up, join activities, and even make friends. Their kindness transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a positive, dignified experience for him and our family. Thank you so much to all of the staff for helping us all through this difficult time.

I can’t say enough about the incredible care my mother has received at Charter Senior Living of Godfrey. From day one, the staff has stopped to listen to her stories, and made her feel truly at home. She loves the activities, the warm atmosphere, and the friendships she has built there. We are forever grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to her while keeping us informed as we navigate the journey of aging parents.

I lived at charter of Godfrey with my husband for over 4 years and loved it. The staff is amazing, always something to do and beyond loving care staff. I would recommend this for your loved one!
