Terrible communication and poor management. Send your loved ones elsewhere.

My father is loving all the social aspects that are featured and how friendly everyone has been, residents and staff. There are a few glitches though. His showers and laundry schedule are still a work in progress. Despite having the days listed as to when, the staff hasn’t been able to get to him unless I raise the issue. His medication is mostly resolved though I did learn if he’s not in his room at the time he’s scheduled for medication he doesn’t get it. The facility is very nice and I’m sure these issues will get straightened out. It appears there is a new group managing and that’s why things are a little confused right now. But overall he’s in a safe place.

I toured MorningStar while my siblings and I were searching for the best local assisted living facility for our mother. This is a beautiful modern facility with so many amenities. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, warm, and kind. I especially want to mention the wonderful interactions I had with Sarah, who spent so much time doing the tour with me and answering my many questions. And Deanna, who was so understanding and supportive when our family’s plans suddenly and unexpectedly changed. I will have no hesitation recommending MorningStar in the future to friends in need.

Moving a loved one into Assisted Living or Memory Care is never an easy decision, but our family has been incredibly grateful for the care and support my mother has received at this community. From day one, the staff has been welcoming, accommodating, compassionate, and genuinely invested in her well-being. Communication with our family has been excellent, and we always feel informed and involved in her care. The community is clean, well-maintained, and staffed by people who make residents feel comfortable, valued, and respected. The team is patient and skilled at redirecting residents when needed, always treating them with dignity and kindness. One of the things we appreciate most is the effort the staff puts into keeping residents engaged, active, and happy. Through a variety of activities, events, and social opportunities, they create an environment where residents can stay connected, stimulated, and enjoy meaningful interactions with others. I would highly recommend this community to anyone seeking compassionate, professional care for a loved one.
