If I could give it zero stars, I would. I’m a stage 3 cancer patient who was caring for my elderly Aunt who, unfortunately, falls often. It was getting to be too much for me. Morris Pace West accepted her as a live in patient and we thought all would be well. In less than 72 hours there, my Aunt hadn’t eaten the absolutely repulsive food, they took her to the emergency room for her extremely high blood pressure and left her there to rot, overnight, after being discharged by the hospital, because if you’re out past 5pm, they don’t provide transportation. She was discharged by the ER at 5:05pm. That fact was not told to us until AFTER someone scrambled to get my Aunt at 8am the next morning. This place should be incredibly ashamed to call itself a “personal care home”. They barely feed you, and what they do feed you looks (and apparently tastes) like garbage. I’ve been in and volunteered at homeless shelters that were in better condition than this establishment. The communal bathroom is co-ed and in less than 72 hours, my Aunt was walked in on by men twice. I would not put a dog in this place. I knew it the night I left her there, but she assured me she’d be fine. Two days later she called me hysterically crying, begging me to come get her. All I keep thinking about is the poor people who have no family to go to or advocate for them. Those poor people. That pace is atrocious. Like I said, I wouldn’t put a dog in that home. You’ve been warned.
