If you’re looking for an independent living community for your loved one, MT Caramel Village is the perfect choice. The environment is exceptional, and the administrator leading the building is OUTSTANDING.

Absolutely the Best! The team at Mt. Carmel Community is incredible—kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The place is spotless, the food is great, and the activities keep residents happy and engaged. Our loved one feels safe, valued, and truly at home here. Highly recommend!

Beautiful community with friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. The current ownership group is very involved and visible and it shows. I am definitely glad I found them for my parents. They have all been a blessing to us for sure!

Consumers and Loved Ones do your research on Mt Carmel at the Village. In the past 2 years they are on their 3rd consulting company and second Administrator with little to none experience. Ask a lot of questions when you and your loved one go to visit the facility. Specifically, their Level of Care and ask for details what you are paying for exactly, ask about the "response times" from when a resident pushes their pendant for help. Important to ask about their staff and their turnover rate with their CNAs and LPNs. That is extremely important for your loved one to get the care they deserve and what they are paying for each month. The resident occupancy rate has declined over the last 2 years. That says a lot about a facility and why the turnover rate is so high. My mom was a resident for 2 years. Whatever facility you chose please do your homework! Check with the State of Arkansas for infractions and citations on any facility. And, last but not least, have a camera in your loved one's room. You have a legal right as family and a loved one to have a camera in the room. You can purchase inexpensive camera monitor and have a peace of mind no matter where your loved one goes.

The location is beautiful and the community, itself, is set up beautifully! I was blown away by the landscape and the cottage we viewed, exceeded my expectations. The nursing staff, especially the daytime nurse who works on Saturday, was attentive and very knowledgeable when I had a few generals questions to ask. Great place and a nice drive if you are coming from outside of town. I'm quite certain, that Mt. Carmel has peaked my family's interest.
