NELSON'S GOLDEN YEARS

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. My mother was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s very young and at this stage we cannot give her the care she needs anymore and knew she needed to be in a home. We were very scared to leave her with anyone but they have surpassed our expectations. Everytime we visit they know exactly where she is when we walk in. They are always doing activities with the residents and you can tell they all care very much. I’m not one to leave reviews for anything, but I felt it pertinent to do so if you had hesitations like we did. Thank you for taking care of our Jojo. We appreciate you endlessly.

Well this is the second person that the trusty nursing staff has put to death in my family circle with their not so excellent care. Neglecting the patients needs. How can you not know that a persons lungs are congested and what about taking a patients temperature to see if they have a fever. I Lost the Love of my life this morning due to complications from double lung pneumonia. My Mother just had to be moved when she was in her last days, the staff couldn’t lift her, needed a mechanic lift. I had to move her to skilled nursing, they used the lift 1 time. My Mother was so frightened of her surroundings and strangers touching her she more or less went into shock. She lasted for 5 days in a very scary world. To me that was torture for me to watch and for my Mother.
